U Shaped IKOCO 2.4 inch Hair Pins for Women's Ballet Buns with Storage Box

These are the perfect thickness… not flimsy but not thick and stiff. Must have for updo’s and ballet buns. So easy to use and my 10yr old loves using these to do her own hair for dance practice and shows.

A hair pin is a hair pin is a hair pin right??? Wrong!! I have purchased may hair and bobby pins that have been sooooo flimsy that they could not stand up to a simple insert into the finest hair let alone medium to thick hair! They immediately bent and twisted up. It doesn't seem to matter how expensive or inexpensive they are or the brand. They seem to all be the same poor quality anymore. That is until I found this brand on Amazon and decided to give them a try. I have been very pleased at how strong they are! I like to wear different styles of wigs and even though I wear different types of wig caps and bands under them, nothing secures a wig or hairstyle like a hair pin or bobby pin! I know some ppl might wonder why I say hair pin or bobby pin...to me...a hair pin is the wider open pin like these and a bobby pin is the closed pin that the hair slides between. I am very, very pleased with the size, quality and quantity of the hair pins that I received and I will buy them again. For full disclosure tho, I have noticed these pins do become discolored by hair products so just be warned, if that is important to you. It's like some products 'strip' the coating off of the hair pin. Otherwise, these hair pins are great in every aspect.

These work great for keeping donuts in your hair.

I use them to keep my hair style bun in place when I do my updos. They are on the larger side considering what I’m normally used to. FYI I do have thick long curly hair and could be considered a type 3c so these definitely hold my hair place but the hold is not that tight. I wouldn’t recommend it for someone with a looser or straight texture- you definitely would need something smaller. Full disclosure…I’m definitely going to order different ones that are smaller. The quality of these are really good though.

The pins for blondes are great, they slide in and hold your bun A Must buy!! and can be re-used. Great price.

These U shaped pins stay in place and don't pull hair - plus, there are no plastic ends at risk of falling off. I was skeptical if these would hold hair - we have long, straight locks that need to be kept in a dance bun style and these do the trick without pulling hair out!

Many times better than bobby pins. They hold any hairstyle all day long with no discomfort. Highly recommend

The color is “spot-on” for the hair pins. I gave 3 stars for the rating because the hair pins don’t stay in, keep falling out. I guess I need silver colored “Bobbi pins”

Nice quality and sturdy hair pins. Good length for my long hair.
