Good quality
Way cheaper than what you would get from a dental supply company. Used these for years and it’s great quality. Works good with Open Dental. There’s a third party software called IOC Snapshot that works with Open Dental.

Reliable intraoral camera
I bought one of these in 2022 and recently purchased another. Great image quality and it works well with Romexis. Instructions for installation, software download and license key for installation is pretty straightforward. Good price point compared to what dental supply companies offer.

Few Things To Keep In Mind!
There’s a good reason this camera is under $200. Whoever claims that this camera’s quality is anywhere near the more expensive models has likely never worked with one of those models. The image on this one is average at best. Also, pay particular attention that this camera only comes with 3 free licenses. That means 1 license per computer and if you want to use it on more than 3 computers you have to fork out extra money for additional licenses.Next issue is the set up! It’s not difficult, but it takes a lot of busy work. It’s not plug and play by any means! For every computer, you have to install the driver. Once you do that, you have to email your Amazon order number, your registration ID, your name and phone number. Then wait till they email you back a license and it is only then that you can get the camera to work. If this was a one time event it wouldn’t matter as much. But you have to do it for every computer. Who has time for that? Finally, if you’re using Carestream imaging software, the camera can take multiple photos, but then you have to go in manually and save each individual photo. Photos do not automatically save into Carestream software. Again, this is highly inefficient. Finally, and this is the primary reason I decided to return it, is their aggressive customer service. The instant I requested an Amazon refund I started getting multiple phone calls from their customer service back to back. And I have no idea how they found my office phone number. I never requested them to call me. But they kept calling insisting I shouldn’t return the product and they can set it up for me. Imagine how frustrating it would be if you’re with patients and every 20 minutes someone calls saying they want to help you and that’s help you didn’t ask for!Anyways, this camera is nowhere as good as what many are making sound to be!
