These thin, narrow, lightweight, heat resistant polyester fiber strands can be washed, cut, curled, flat ironed or blow dried. Like with any tinsel they can slide out of your hair if you don’t tie them well enough or if your hair is super fine. It does take a bit of practice but once mastered you won’t regret the time spent. These are super fun to wear! How to apply: Step 1. Create a slip knot: Select a strand of hair tinsel and create a small loop. Pull the end of the tinsel through the loop completely. Step 2. Tie the tinsel and hair together: For fine hair select 3 or 4 hairs (for thicker hair-1 or2) Slide slip knot onto the hair. Pull tinsel and hair side to side direction, making sure the knot is close to the hair shaft. Tie the hairs and the tinsel together in a knot. Once the knot is at the base of the hair pull it tight. Now you can drop the hair Pull the ends of tinsels in opposite directions until knot is secure. Try pulling tinsel holding it closer to the knot (to prevent tinsel stretching) Step 3: Tie few more knots with the tinsel only. The finished knot should be at the base of hair, small and flattened into the hair. For longer wear or for thin hair add a drop of eyelash glue at the base of a knot Know what you buy: ::Length: 40 inches. ::Width: 0.015 inches. ::Quantity: 7 colors x 30 strands each. I used to use Hair Flairs and absolutely loved them. These are still fun
I used to use Hair Flairs and absolutely loved them. These are still fun, but they are not as nice a quality, nor are they as long. A perk with Hair Flairs was that they were long enough for mid-thigh hair, so I was a little disappointed that these didn't reach. They also don't have the shimmery effect hair flairs has (the silver one seems to, though).Still, they're fun to wear and I enjoy them. I like the variety and vibrancy of the colors. I would still recommend this to anyone who wants to add a little sparkle to their hair.

Don’t pay a salon! Tie your own fairy hair!
I am NOT paying $25 for someone to put ten of these strands in my kid’s hair. For just a couple dollars more, I’ll do it myself. AND have hundreds leftover to use later. They’ve withstood a lot of abuse being in active girls’ hair. After a surprisingly long time, they do start to crinkle from being in and removing knots in the hair. But really, it makes them shiny and stand out even more.

Difficult to apply, but great colors
This product comes with great, vibrant colors. There are so many in the package, too. Won't need to buy this product again. However, I had no idea how to insert these into hair, and the YouTube videos I watched didn't help enough. All the tinsel my friends and I used fell out within a matter of days. Not sure if that is due to the quality of tinsel or operator error in tying the knots. Beautiful color options, though!

Adds a little bit of fun to your hair
Adds a little bit of fun to your hair. Have to have someone help you tie it in, but if they're good at tying, the strands will stay for a long time. I had some stay for 2 weeks, which is about the same as what I experienced having my stylist tie one in. I also dyed my hair with them in and they stayed sparkly and pretty.

Missing colors
I was a little disappointed that my set did not have rainbow strands nor purple. The 2 colors my daughter wanted and I thought I was ordering. Otherwise, they are pretty awesome! I'm getting better at the knots and I'm going on 2 weeks with washing and flat ironing every other day.

Not worth the price
Says 210 strands doesn’t look like it to me. Not worth the price then you get charged $3.99 to send it back for a refund. So I’ll keep it and not know for next time I order any tinsel.

Not the best value.
Sadly, I feel this was a severely overpriced product for what I recieved. The colors are pretty and all, but I was disappointed with the amount of stands for the price, when I found almost the same pack at our local dollar store for $1.00 for 2...wish I had just waited and got it there and saved my family the money during this pandemic.

Fabulous vibrant colors!
Bought this tinsel package for my daughter, whom loves the fabulous vibrant colors! She loves the sparkle it adds to her hair. Would definitely recommend this tinsel package!
