This is a very good kit. The tools are fine, and the battery seems great. I just installed it, so I can't really speak to the battery's longevity, etc.The instructions that came with the kit were fine, but there is a video too.Tip: I could not grab the white adhesive strip from under the battery to release it. But I found a technique from iFixIt, where you turn over the phone and carefully apply heat the back of the case with a hair dryer. I did this a few times, each time trying to gently pry the battery out. Finally, it worked.Another Tip: However careful you think you may be with the tiny screws, be MORE careful. Dropping one is losing one.Otherwise, the install went fine. My phone had actually popped open from the expanding battery, so I had to use some super glue to glue the glass back down to its holder. Just at the top and bottom. There were remnants of glue inside, where the glass separated.Putting the phone back together was OK, but I did get some display glitching, probably due to an improperly snapped in display cable. Finally fixed that. These phones are absolutely jam-packed, so it's a bit tricky at times to fiddle around in there.

It was easy to install and all the necessary tools were included. I've done this before but I quickly reviewed the operation on YouTube before proceeding.

Excellent product and awesome value. The instructions were long and drawn out but if you use the YouTube tutorial that they provide, it goes in easily. The most difficult part was removing the sticky tape in the old battery but it is do-able. Super happy that this battery is available because it allows me to use my old iPhone5 as a back up phone to make calls only. Will order this battery again.

My phone's battery was dead. If I unplugged it for 2 minutes, it would power off. I replaced the battery with this kit, and now my phone will last longer than half a day. Admittedly, I use it to play a game, so it's getting a lot of use, but I expected the battery would last a full day. At the end of the day, though, I'm happy that my phone is no longer tethered permanently to a charging cable, but I have to wonder if the battery is as powerful as advertised.

I needed a replacement battery for my iPhone 5s. This one wasn't priced high plus it had all the tools needed to take my phone apart and install the battery. The instructions are spot on, clearly written with pictures and easy to follow. It took me about 15 or 20 minutes to install it. For someone who doesn't want to buy a new phone and you only need a battery, this is definitely a good option.
