Wow, what can I say about this product? I am so excited about using it this garden season. This dehydrator is so quiet, it is very nice in appearance. I was very pleased with the shelves. The shelves in this dehydrator are wavy so the contact of the food has little surface area contact which means the design enables faster dehydration. It makes the process smooth in removing the food from the shelves once it is finished. I wish I would have purchased the ten shelves machine instead of the six quicker, by this I mean I did not make my decision fast enough, and when I went back to get the ten shelf machine it was unavailable. I am so happy I decided to purchase this brand. When they say quiet they mean quiet. There is absolutely no rattling of any metal at all. The alarm that goes off is loud enough for you to hear it in the next room so you know when the dehydration process is finished. Make sure you allow yourself time for your food to cool off to make it easier to remove. I found that by turning the Shelf upside down over a towel and pressing from the backside made it a lot easier to remove the dehydrated food. So far all I have dehydrated is banana chips. Do not make the mistake I did by cutting them too thin because they will shatter when you remove them, which is okay if you're putting them in Granola. The machine is easy to clean wipes down really easily. And the drip tray is really cool because nothing sticks to it. I'm talking about sticky stuff that dripped off of the banana chips that had honey on them did not stick to the drip tray it came off in a flake which I must say tasted delicious LOL. This machine does not put off a lot of heat as you would think it would. I have mine set up in my laundry room because that's the counter space I wanted to use. But it would look lovely in the kitchen as well. I can promise you won't be disappointed if you decide to try the Samsung silent dehydrator. Being stainless steel with a glass door is a bonus. So far I can say nothing bad about this product.

My first dehydrator and I’m so in love with it. I watched videos and read reviews. I live in a small home, so QUIET in living room/kitchen area key! You have to focus to hear it. It dries foods beautifully. The liner trays are great. Easy to set timer and temp. I’m hunting for things to dry!

Clean up of this until is so easy. I made beef jerky which came out perfect. Clean up was easy. All I did was soak the racks for 10 minutes and then used a dish brush to get off any meaty fibers. I put a layer of parchment paper on the bottom of the unit so that made clean up of the inside hassle free. The meat toward the front of the trays cooked just as evenly as the pieces in the back of the unit. For health reasons, I'm glad I went the stainless route. You won't regret it either. Who wants plastic fumes and who knows what else circulating around their food?

We love it! So quiet I can sleep in the same room and it doesn't keep me awake. Also takes the chill off the room so I don't need to use a heater most nights. Highly recommended. Such a classy product. They also have a ten tray version.

This is a great kitchen counter top unit. Its smaller than my old dehydrator (Excaliber) but it A LOT QUITTER! The controls are very intuitive. Love the removable bottom tray for easy cleanup. The stainless steel housing and clear glass front door give the unit a clean, compact and modern look on my kitchen counter. It seems to work well and everything I have tried so far has been consistently dried.

In my opinion this is an entry level pro modelPlenty of room , 24 hour timer that is easily extended if needed without interrupting the already started timer as well as temperature control . Hinges Front door gives easy access to food racks as well as a clear view window even though is doesn’t have an interior light .Instructions are simple and there are times and temperature setting for everything you can dehydrate though due to different thickness of slices room temperature and other variables you will need to fine to the guid lines to your liking but that’s normal with any dehydratorFan pulls air in from the rear and is blown over and under the food towards the front door. Exhaust is on the left and right sides just behind the front door and it’s super quiet.Controls are very simple on off button temperature control/timer button and up and down buttons ..that’s it

Initially, it worked as advertised. I dried thin apple slices, chives and herbs last fall, 5 different cycles of drying. I put it away on a dry shelf in my big closet, then a week ago, went to use it again.I plugged it in and it worked for about 20 minutes. I tried using a different outlet, Nothing.I checked the house circuit, took the back apart to see in there was some internal fuse - nothing.Suspect something wrong with the circuit board - dont know.Very, Very disappointing. I bought another brand for this year.

I've used it more than 5 times so far. To make raw vegan coconut "bacon", raw vegan fruit "bread", and chia seed crackers. It works perfectly and it is very quiet which I'm very glad about. I would recommend it to anyone. I'm glad I purchased it.

After weeks of 'research' and you-tubing to decide on a dehydrator, I decided to go with the Samson. This checks off EVERY box, I wanted stainless steel, front window, back fan, digital controls, easy cleaning and quiet, It has been running nearly non stop since it was delivered, so far all I've done are apples and mint, but will be doing many other fruits and making veggie chips. Super quiet and looks great on the counter.

Fantastic unit so far, great results for homemade jerky. Easy setup, easy to clean with the stainless steel trays. The timer is also fantastic nice and long settings so you can set and forget.

The best out there as it's steel with silicone sheets, not plastic
