Walker Quiet-Flow SS 54767 Direct Fit Exhaust Muffler Assembly 2" Outlet (OD) for Subaru Forester

Husband installed it 2 weeks ago, it fit well and works great, car is much quieter now.

My new muffler arrived quickly and it was a perfect fit for my 2006 Subaru Forrester. This product is superior to the factory muffler I replaced. It’s much heavier and robust in every way. I can’t believe how quiet my car is and it’s a joy to drive again. Great value the NAPA near my home wanted over $400 for a replacement muffler. I saved over $300 and did it myself in my front yard. Very happy with this purchase.

Fit perfectly and easy to install.

This muffler was delivered with no packaging at all, and was roughed up a little in transit. Just some dents and scratches that no one will ever see. It fit well except that the hangers were smaller in diameter than Subaru oem so it's not as secure as it could be. On the plus side, the classic +3k rpm whistle is gone and it sounds nice and quiet.

My 2008 Subaru Forester 2.5x sports started making that awful squeal around 3000-4000rpm when pushing hard on the throttle. So I took a chance and bought this, it fits perfectly. Installation was a breeze; the hardest part was the nut that took a little bit of persuasion from Mr.wd40 and Mr.liquidwrench, otherwise I would've completed the install in 30 minutes.I didn't notice any difference in sound, not any louder or any quieter. Only time will tell how well this holds up, but I don't mind paying this price to do it myself vs going to a muffler shop.Update: so far I haven't noticed any difference in mpg gain or loss. So far so good.

Ordered this exact product 2 years ago. While driving I noticed someone had a very loud car and much to my dismay, realized that it was me. I got under the car and noticed that the muffler had broken at the welds after 2 years of city driving on decent roads. One star for each year the product lasted. Purchased again to give the company another chance as it was also the most economical option for an older car. The new muffler, which is the same product (supposedly) as the older one is noticeably louder than the previous one.

Bolts right on, no fuss. Worth the money.

Get rubber hanger extensions....pegs on muffler mount muffler higher,,,rubs against suspension making squeak noise.
