Lovely book ....nice way to teach kids to write letters... A must have book for children at 6 plus years...

Very nicely written and presented.Talks about various climatic zones, various types of animals, their habits in a very interesting manner..Wish a map was given to make it more interesting.The concept of postcards,stamps and mail which the kids may not know because of new technology can be understood fairly well.Value for money and strongly recommended.

This book is quite interesting like other Emily Gravett books. It is about a meerkat -who thinks his home in Kalahari desert is too hot and too crowded to live -decides to go for a trip around the world to meet his relatives. Every other page have a postcard flap which is addressed to his parents. As days pass he start missing home and it's reflected in his postcards including the address.!! Quite hilarious text and illustrations. It's not written like a conventional picture book (like many of Emily Gravett books it doesn't folllw conventional writing!), so if you like her books this would be a wonderful addition in your collection!!
