Light & Motion Pistol Grip Light Handle for Sola and Stella 1000/2000 with Lanyard (800-0171-A)

I ordered this pistol grip for my 2012 model Sola 4000 and found that, contrary to the description here, the grip does *not* work with all Solas sold after January 1, 2012. It does not work with the Sola 4000. L&M marketing is supposed to change their misleading description so hopefully no one else will have my experience.The grip itself is a nicely molded piece of plastic, but for me is too small to be a good grip. I can hold on with no more than two fingers. I have big hands, though, so it might be more useful for users with smaller hands.

Can break at the screw attachment hole.

Product as described. Included wrist lanyard doesn't work well so plan on clipping it to your bc.

This is the namebrand pistol grip for the lights but there was no lanyard as they claimed.

Its a sturdy handle that fits great with my Sola Photo 1200. It came with a wrist lanyard as well which was okay seeing as the fastener seemed a bit loose. Over all it was all I was expecting.

The pistol grip is way too small to hold and balance against the weight of the light. A waste
