Foxter Blood Flow Restriction Bands
Delivery was fast. The order went in to Amazon lateon a Friday and a well packaged parcel was waiting for evaluation at the gym on Monday morning.First impressions were of a pair of straps incorporating good workmanship as far as the stitching went, used good quality materials that appeared robust, looked comfortable and were flexible. The buckle clasps were of a high density plastic manufacture and had a strong and smooth locking action with serrated interlocking clasps. So far, so good.As it was Arm Day, I decided to experiment on my Tris & Bis which were today's guinea pigs. Here's how it went:1) A proper placement and tensioning of the straps require the assistance of a training partner. You can eventually get it right in solo mode, but takes some fiddling. I would have preferred to have been able to do this easily myself. Also, the straps could have used an additional sleeve loop addition stitched on so, once the straps were tightened down, the tails of the straps could be tucked in to prevent flapping about.2) At least for my biceps, these straps were a little wide. This is perhaps because my bicep bellies are short, but a narrower band width would have suited my particular arm better.3) Once we got the workout underway the straps were comfortable, stayed in place and at the end, my arms were"pumped like Donald Trump."I have used the straps on two other occasions, for training calves and for training the arms of one of my female clients. In calf mode, the width of the straps was fine and nicely augmented the workout of what, at least for me, is a difficult area to train and get a good pump on. With the girl client, the straps worked but again the width of the bands was a minor issue.Overall evaluation: a tool that does what it says on the tin for reasonable price.
