Welcome to A Wonderland You Never Imagined!
As a fan of Wonderland, I cannot get enough of this manga. Be warned though that this retelling of a classic is not intended for younger audiences. I would say that this falls under the "harem" genre. Alice in the Country of Hearts puts an entirely new spin on a classic story in a way that many of the previous attempts have failed. It is unique! While maintaining familiar characters and the basic principle of Alice's journey into Wonderland, this series manages to incorporate entirely original twists and plots within the story. We follow Alice Liddell as she is kidnapped by Peter Rabbit and forced into the Country of Hearts, where she seems to be the eye of everyone's desires and fantasies. We find that the characters we have known in the classic tale have been given new life as we are introduced to the Country of Hearts denizens, all of which wield weapons and a strong hate towards one another. Surrounded by violence and constant admirers, Alice quickly learns that the land is divided into territories and life in this strange place is one big game. A game that everyone must play. She is set on confronting her abductor and giving him a piece of her mind and finding a way home. But will Alice really wish to leave once she realizes that this is a world she may have conjured up based on her own feelings of ineptness and jealousy in her home land, where she was jilted by a lover who choose her own sister over her? A lover that just so happens to looks exactly like the gun toting, mafia leading Mad Hatter.

Great manga, however...
A wonderful, wonderful, world! Welcome to Wonderland where everything is more maniac than the other versions we've seen. I love that Alice comes back and discovers something different. It's hilarious to read and that there are so many characters with their own personalities. This first volume contains book 1 & 2.My only downside was that it does not state in the description that it's book 1 & 2, and I accidentally ended up buying vol 2 by mistake not realizing that I already had it just in a bigger volume. However, I was impressed with the story and so obsessed with the series that I now am buying all the volumes of the series.Series in order:Alice in the country of hearts, alice in the country of clover, alice in the country of diamonds, alice in the country of jokers.

Interesting Remake
This is a very intriguing series, more shojo focus on character interaction with a typical harem design (one girl, numeanything, but still interesting. It's worth the read if you enjoy handsome men chasing after a bratty teen. This is NOT a remake of Alice in Wonderland. The only thing it has in common is the name Alice. Everything else, even how she gets to wonderland and the secret of wonder land is totally different. However, don't expect a really detailed plot as this is lacking. It seems like it's going somewhere with a lot of potential, but the hype just simmers off. Almost, like it bit off more than it could chew. Despite this, I still liked it because I have enough imagination to see what it was going for and the art was nice. This series reads more like individual mini stories that happen to have the same setting than a comprehensive plot.

Great Manga. Just made sure you purchase your collection from the same publisher each time. This publisher combined multiple volumes together. Which means the volume 2 & 3 by a different publisher is already in this book.

Alice in the Country of Hearts
Fun anime about Alice in a different sort of wonderland. It is based on the Otome game by Quinrose. The book is very nice and if you liked the game, you will enjoy the anime.

This book was told brilliantly well. I loved the spin on this book after Alice fell down the hole with Peter White; the mafia, Queen Vivaldi, Julius the clock maker, etc.. Well done QuinRose, well done!

A must read for Bishounen loving manga fans
I gave Alice in the Country of Hearts a 5 star rating out of my own personal enjoyment, I do love the Alice in Wonderland story and I love interesting takes on it. Such as Alice Madness Returns where the universe is Victorian Gothic and delightfully gory.Whereas Alice in the Country of Hearts is a lighter take and a comedy, they do not follow the story completely as this series is based off a romantic otome game of the same name and they change the characters a lot but the characters are so funny that you won't even mind.Let us not forget that most of the characters have been reworked into bishounen (Very handsome) men with a percent for trying to kill each other any chance they get, all fighting for Alice's love. Alice herself is no Bella Swann, she is a fiery main heroine who doesn't suffer fools gladly and takes non of the funny business from the guys. The men are a mixed bunch themselves, all of them good in their own unique way and represent their characters very well.Peter White (The White Rabbit) - Prime Minister of The Country of Hearts and completely obsessed with AliceBlood Dupree (The Mad Hatter) - Handsome smooth talking Mafia Boss who can be quite ruthless at timesBoris (The Cheshire Cat) - Gun Otaku and Master cat burgular who hangs out at the theme parkThere are many more but you get the jist with these threeI would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the game series, fan of romantic reverse harem anime/manga and anyone who wants a new and original take on the Alice in Wonderland tale.

Came slightly yellowed and was obviously used. It wasn't as bad as it could have been and is in better condition that I expect from other series
