Crunchy in a good way
US Bakeries Seattle Sourdough "Waterfront"Sliced round sourdough bread, 24 ozThis is my favorite bread. I've purchased it half a dozen times at least. It's always fresh and delicious. Rustic but able to stay flexible with a slightly chewy crust that doesn't hurt to bite into. Flavorful, but not overwhelmingly tangy. I don't even think of it as sourdough anymore, just "that bread I like."Here's what it won't do.It won't: fold smoothly over a slice of lunch meat or American cheese like a limp gym sock roll up into a ball like some other breads (we don't talk about those) guarantee not to leak peanut butter and jelly through giant natural gluten bubble holes in the sides safeguard the roof of your mouth once you've toasted it pacify your gluten free friend or relative fit into a square Tupperware sandwich keeper turn into a rock after a weekWhat it will do.It will: make damn fine toast encourage you to break the larger slices in half so you can more easily fit them into the mouth of either a person or a toaster comport itself well as a dinner bread comfortably fit a hotdog, perhaps even two artfully accompany stews and soups in pictures worthy of blogging and social media posts endure the slings and arrows of outrageous gravies sop whatever's left on your plate without disintegrating like a wet paper towel remind you of a basketball or perhaps some other large spherical object, like the Death Star, causing you to hum either the Star Wars or Harlem Globetrotters' themes as you wait for the toaster to pop up *warning, graphic imagery* it will let melting butter slide and glide and run down into all of its warm toasted nooks and crannies like a hot crumpet or an English muffin cause you to agonize fitfully over whether to top it with honey or preserves while you are eating it plain or buttered, causing you to get out another slice so you can do both make you forget your ex ... bread, your ex-bread. or who knows maybe your ex as well (it's that good) inspire you to start your own collection of jams, jellies, and marmalades (aren't we fancy?) make Dagwood jealous as you build epically towering triple decker club sandwiches in typical mad scientist fashion while using everything you can out of the fridge and shouting "It's alive! Mwahahaaaa!" and probably make amazing croutons or bread pudding or French toast or grilled cheese, though I have never had the patience or had any leftover long enough to try it.

Great bread!
I wouldn’t consider this a true sourdough bread but it has its merits. I would call this an everyday bread that is sourdough flavored without that heavy tang to it. Something you can use for sandwiches without overpowering or alongside a good bowl of soup. It’s incredible in its own with just a bit of real butter.Love the texture. It has a medium firm density and is quite bouncy. I hate crust but love the crust on this loaf. It’s not hard and crusty like your typical sourdough. It is smooth and has a light chew to it. I find myself ripping the crust off too enjoy first. It’s slightly more expensive than the other sourdoughs available but worth it if you get a fresh untainted loaf. My complaints are not about the bread itself but the warehouse handling. I’m not sure if they rotate food like they are supposed to. I’ve had several issues such as the best by date being only 3 days out or finger holes ripped through the middle of the bag.If you order this, make sure to inspect the bag and the best by date. Go as far as opening it up and checking a slice. It should be pliable and slightly moist in the middle. If you got a fresh loaf, storing it in an airtight container will keep it fresh longer. Once the bread loses its moisture, it’s not as enjoyable anymore.

Our staple toasting bread
Delicious sliced sourdough round - perfect for toasting. Excellent flavor, and air pocket texture. This is our staple morning toast bread but is also amazing for grilled cheese. I don’t prefer this for cold sandwiches but we go through a loaf a week just the same.

Good bread
This bread is DELICIOUS however, I received this bread with mold. I dont know why or how but i saw it had already begin to clearly mold without having to open the package. The bread without mold is very tasty as a grilled sandwich bread.

Really Delicious Bread
I am trying to lower my carbs intake, but this bread is worth it. I hope the glucose spike will not hurt me too much.
