This chaga is excellent and has a legitimate amount of the black stuff on the chunks. For the price I think that this chaga is the best deal on Amazon. I will continue to buy and use this product. I make chaga tea in large batches and then use it in my coffee maker to make chaga infused coffee. This is one of the easiest ways to get chaga into your system on a consistent basis. I don't really enjoy drinking chaga tea by itself but if I make it into chaga coffee I have no problem drinking it. 5/5!

The Chaga chunks didn’t come with any instructions. I did not wash the Chaga before brewing it. As it was brewing I noticed white stuff floating in the water. They turned out to be a winged bug and three worms. Was I supposed to wash the Chaga first and/ or throw away the first batch of Chaga tea? I had just reorder more Chaga from the seller before I used this batch of Chaga. Needless to say I have cancelled my order. Just wondering if the extra creatures in the pot are normal. I have pictures but I am not seeing the option to add images to this product review.

I love this product it tastes great and economical because I use the chunks several times. I let them steep in the coffee pot until it's the right strength and color. I keep it in the fridge and drink it chilled. I still have the first bag but will buy more when it runs out.

Tastes great chilled with nothing added. Have already made numerous 68 ounce pitchers with the first couple of chunks and still going strong! Huge value at this price.

I bought this product for the first time to use in the aid of fire making...to be used as a coal extender. Once it catches a tiny spark it's really hard to get it to stop burning! That's a good thing by the way. It did what I wanted it to. Secondly, it is very well professionally sealed and packaged. Will buy more in the future and highly recommend this product. Going to be trying some tea with it as well.

A friend told me this cured his crohns so I tried for my ulcerative colitis. Was in remission within a week and I have been clear every since. Just drink 1 cup each day. Would like this info to get out to the world.

This is the real deal! I've been able to make several cups of tea with just 2 chunks of mushrooms in a pot of water over a 2 day period.

These are the real thing, and nice big chunks. To the person saying that they found worms... I just have to say that when you wish to buy wild organic products, that’s the risk you take. Nature doesn’t use pesticides. And you cannot propagate these indoors. It takes 10 years for a birch tree to grow a chaga in the wild. So boil the bugs out and pick your battles. I would definitely buy these again.

Great quality Chaga, lots of energy!Helpful tips for first timers:1. I have used powder, small chunks and large chucks. These are large the chunks. I prefer using the large chunks as they easier to scoop out and place in the freezer to be re-used. Yes, you can re-use, but only a few times. Btw, the powder does brew faster...2. Always look for a deep, rich coffee colour and never a out right boil. Bring to boil and simmer. The longer you simmer, the strong the brew. However, if the brew tastes bitter, you have made it too strong. Just a nice coffee colour.
