Worth it
Used this on a music video shoot the other day, simply clamped it to a C stand and let it hang while I bounced light into it, I got a perfect soft light on my subject… looked terrific. Great value for the price.If you’re looking to double diffuse buy two or fold this in half.

METERS @ ABOUT 1-1/2 STOPS on LED, BUT ABOUT 1 STOP ON A FLUORESCENT KINO?
A little thicker than my soft box diffuser faces... Probably more like a medium weight fabric, but nonetheless, nice Quality fabric. Pretty much the same weave as SoftBox face diffusion, though less transparent. Meters at about 1-1/2 stops... (Draped about 12" away from LED light source) But meters less than a stop with a Kino (draped 12" away from light) Perhaps if it's stretched very tightly, (or ironed?) it may end up less.Not exactly sure why this is? But perhaps the lenses on the LED allow for more diffusion, than the bare bulbs on the Fluorescent Kino? So I imagine if you have a more direct light source (Flash, spot, Fresnel) it may end up less as well. For measuring both lights, I used both the reflective dome meter held in front, as well as the spot meter off the wall, and pretty much got the same readings.4 stars because I get used to deducting solely 1 stop for diffusion, and this again meters between-1 to 1.5 stops.

Diffusion Fabric
Used only once worked well to stop hash light from flash or video light to soften the light.

Rear Projection is great
I needed this for a background in my animation studio. The cloth does a great job for rear projection and it doesn't get dirty easily. Shipped very quickly.

Very thin, NOT 1 ans 1/2 stops of diffusion.
This fabric is VERY thin! No way is it 1 and 1/2 stops of light diffusion. This fabric offers very little in the way of light diffusion. I compared the opacity of this cloth with the diffusion cloth of a cheap softball I own. The soft box diffusion fabric is about 2-3 times denser than this cloth.I bought this to use as a DIY scrim. It's way too thin to be effective for that use. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way on this one since I didn't have a chance to look at to before the return period passed. Lesson learned there.
