Bianchi Model 56 Serpent Belt Slide Holster, Right Hand

I prefer Galco holsters, I have used them for nearly 30 years! Galco holsters are not inexpensive (leather models are well over $100!), when I saw this Bianchi holster for only $37.99 I decided to order one for my Glock 17. Other reviews indicated that this holster, designed for Glock 19, had some overlap and would probably fit a Glock 17. There is approximately 1/4" protrusion of the Glock 17 (see pic) and the front sight is protected. The fit is snug (which you want with a leather holster because it will stretch!), but it was not as significant as other reviewers. Securing the thumb snap was not an issue after firmly inserting the pistol. Drawing the pistol did require a minor "tug" to remove it from the holster, but as it breaks in this will not be an issue. With my a 1.5" belt, the holster had a very tight fit and was difficult to position exactly where I wanted it on my body, once in position it was fine. My 1.6" belt was virtually impossible to thread through the holster. I enlarged the belt loops by securing a drywall saw in a vice and carefully removing leather by hand. Fits all my belts now. I would purchase again even with the minor modifications.

This holster is a perfect fit for my Glock 19 Gen 5. It was a very tight fit initially. I wrapped the firearm in several plastic shopping bags and inserted it into the holster for about 24 hours. I had to stretch the retention strap a little bit to snap it closed. After I removed the plastic bags, I had a perfect fitting holster. It’s very sturdy, and good looking also. I would recommend this product.

This holster is fantastic, its a snug, perfect fit for our Glock 40. The snap is easy to pop with one hand, fits snugly on your belt and looks attractive as well! 10 out 10 recommend this holster, i also have 2 others for our 9MM ♡

I purchased this all leather Bianchi 56 serpent holster for my Glock 19. As others have stated, when you receive it the holster is very stiff. When the gun was inserted for the first time, I could hardly remove it and the snap was a half inch off. I pulled and stretched the leather strap for about 10 minutes and finally got the holster to snap shut. I then removed the gun and wrapped plastic wrap around it four times and pushed it back in. Several times over the next two days, I'd take the gun back out and check the fit. By the third day I had a perfect fitting holster. Other things to mention is that the depth at the barrel is about 1/2" over the G19 so it should also cover the barrel of the longer G17. The snap has a plastic cover on the inside to protect the slide from scratches and all though sung, I had no problems looping it through a belt that's 1 1/2 inches wide by about 1/8 inches thick. I added some pictures for anyone else looking to purchase this holster. I would recommend this holster to anyone with a G19 or similar model Glock.

I’m very disappointed with this product. It arrived in a plastic bag with an Amazon shipping bag. Nothing on the packaging said it was from Bianchi. If you look at the photos you can see how it was received. It looks like it’s been used. The photo in the advertisement made it look like it was a very nice glossy leather. It’s very dull.

Perfect for and leather is the way to go.

This Bianchi 56 fits my Glock 19. Like a lot of reviews that said the fit is tight and snapping it in is difficult. That's true to some degree. I have mine snapped in while storing to stretch it and improve the fit. The holster is first quality, and no doubt will last a very long time, or lifetime. Again, the holster is first quality. I wanted the snap to make certain the firearm wouldn't fall out of the holster, but wanted to be able to use my thumb to unsnap and draw quickly. It fits tight to my body, but I do still print, just less so than with my former holster. I like how the trigger and trigger guard is all inside the holster so it would be almost impossible to discharge while in the holster. I purchased the brown because that's the color I like. The black holster would match a black weapon better perhaps.

Ordered a few of these for work, for me and my co-workers. I LOVE THIS HOLSTER! The fit was super mega tight at first, which isn't a bad thing... I left my Glock 23 in all the time and over night, and holstered and un-holstered all day long in the first few days of wear. It has been a few months now, and i have worn to training at the range and once you get used to the way it sits and rides on your belt, it is no "slower" than my 5.11 thumb release holster, but without the bulk and stiffness. This holster can be worn in plainclothes on my belt, and I wear it a little father to the rear, so that it doesn't present a huge outline on my hip. I am a female officer and have hips that don't need to look any wider under my shirts, blouses and jackets. Overall, I would buy this again, and again.

The holster is made of a thin leather. I holds well but I use it occasionally. I am not convince of the durability for a heavy user. The fit for a Glock 19 with night sights is pretty good. You have to consider a breaking period because the leather is very tight when new. For a reasonable price it is a good purchase.
