Can't hear nothing

I do not like giving low ratings and especially to products being sold by individual retailers. But…I had and audio recording session coming and my old (expensive in the day) microphone died. So, I ordered this and got it the following day. I plugged it into the correct port on my Macintosh and found that absolutely not audio signal was coming through. I did everything I could think of including opening the case to check for loose wires. Nothing.So, I ordered a replacement. It came on the day of the session and it, too, would not pass any audio to the computer.I had to race to a brick-and-mortal retailer to get something (that did work).The refund process went well and quickly, but I did want to have that microphone with sound shield and isolated mount.Sigh. The idea is great and the price incredible, but the actual product let me down.

This mic meets my expectations for vocals. It works great with my iPhone with a converter from AUX to lighting. The voice recorded from this mic is stunningly clear. I used it for singing and online meeting. Worth its price.

My son has had no complaints about it. Music sounds good so far with no problems
