An excellent and readable introduction to a complex area
As a health professional with a keen interest in ACT, I was interested in finding out more about RFT but daunted by the fact that it was reported to be such a complex area. This book is the solution. Although it did require careful concentration to read, the explanations are clear and comprehensible. I particularly liked the fact that all terms were carefully defined in the text. The index is also very good.I feel I have a much better feel for ACT after reading this book.

Fantastic read!
Mind-blowing work. Emperically sound with endless clinical uses for application! Bought it as a requirement for grad school, read a few assigned chapters, and ended up reading it in its entirety. Fantastic read!

Now you can understand and apply Relational Frame Theory
I call this and outstanding explication of RFT. I was able to understand the explanations of the behavioral concepts and their applications.

Great read!
This book really does make RFT understandable to the reader. As some readers might know, the initial RFT book is rather academic, and well, hard to "get". This book covers all of the important issues, but in a way that is understandable. After giving the initial RFT text many reads, I thought that I got it....after reading through this book, I KNOW that I get it. Great contribution to the literature in this growing area of behavior analysis/clinical behavior analysis. :)

Great intro to RFT and it's clinical applications
This is a nice intro to RFT and it's clinical applications. I like the bottom up approach to describing the theory, research methods, principles indicated by this, and finally clinical applications and examples. It does a nice job of not getting too bogged down in any of these elements. It's a nice continuous flow from basic research to clinical applications. The application of these principles to understanding other treatments was "grand" but appropriately so.

Helpfull!
This book is, though still not an easy read, much easier to understand than the book about ACT by Hayes, Strohsal and Wilson. One of the helpfull things is that it goes back to the basic of behavioural theory and Skinner thus putting the theory in a bigger perspective.
