Leather Cushion Face Pads Eye Foam Mask Pad Cover for Rift CV1 VR Headset (2PCS)

I bought this for use with my Oculus CV1, because the original padding is starting to become.... well... not enjoyable since playing a lot of more active games like beat saber. This does feel different, maybe a little less firm. It does not come with a plastic piece to swap out (which it wasn't described at all as having it, just pointing out for you guys that may not have thought about it), so you'll have to peel off the old foam and remove the adhesive. It's not too bad to do, but you do have to do it. Adhesive backed hook and loop (velcro) was slightly oddly shaped and some parts needed to be wavy or it goes over the edges of the plastic.After using for a little bit, the foam where the nose fits in rubs slightly against it, so that could be a little loose. If I had a larger nose, I'd be really annoyed. Beside the minor annoyance, it cleans pretty easy, especially compared to the original foam.Other than that, I've only had it for a few weeks at this point, but overall, it's a great product for the price at the time of review. I may do an update to the review a few months down the line to mention how it holds up, but so far is great!

Much better than the standard foam. Product was easy to apply but scraping the old foam off his difficult and time consuming. Seems to not completely cover the bridge portion which had foam before however that doesn’t seem to touch anything on my face.

This is MUCH more comfortable than the original foam on the Rift CV1. It doesn't soak your sweat up like a sponge, unlike the original padding. After using for a while, I noticed that there was less fog than usual on the headset. Don't know if this has anything to do with that but thought it was worth mentioning.

The adhesive doesn’t work very well around the curved nose edge and pops off and rubs against the nose.

The included velcro pads don't line up exactly with the Rift S "facial interface" piece, but they can be made to fit with a little trimming with a pair of scissors. Luckily they also include extra velcro if you need to make adjustments. Fits comfortably and is much easier to clean than the stock foam.

Very uncomfortable. Been using a VRCover foam which fell apart after 3 years, but has been great. This one just isn't flexible enough and puts too much pressure on my face. Can't play for very long without hurting.

Works great with BoxVR as the workouts get a bit sweaty. Easy to clean and apply to existing headset

Works well with the Rift SJust pull the old foam off the headset and cut the Velcro strips to the shape of the rift s and BamFit great and is alot more comfortable than the stock foam
