Works much better than expected!
I'm submitting this review after just one use so far but I'm very satisfied with this product. I have a small 300 gallon pond that has been a real pain to clean by hand, emptying the pond and literally getting in on my knees and scooping out the sludge with a bucket by hand. Decided to buy this vacuum in hopes it would work as advertised. I can honestly say it has so much power it could've sucked out my entire pond in minutes. The assortment of nozzles are very handy. The sludge was gone in a couple passes. Was very simple to clean the unit with a garden hose. It is mostly plastic but seems very sturdy and well designed. I did buy some velcro straps to store the hoses/cord, as they always seem to unravel and tangle. It now stores neatly in my shed. I can totally recommend this vacuum as of now, I see no reason why it would give me any issues.Update after 6 months: unit still works great after many cleanings, but I had one issue with loss of suction. Checked hoses, nozzle, kinks and any other suggestions in the trouble shooting instructions. Finally found a small rock wedged in the check valve attachment blocking the flapper open. Works good as new now but I could've saved time if they specified in the instructions to check the flapper/check valve.

Efficient Dirt Removal with Water Recycling
This unit exceeded my expectations. It uses strong suction to pull in debris, separates the dirt from the water, and continuously recycles the clean water back into the system. The waste exits through the outlet side, so you don’t lose water volume in the process. What impressed me most is that it operates almost hands-free—once it’s running, it does all the work for you. A well-designed and efficient piece of equipment that’s absolutely worth the investment!!!

Take your time
The pond vac performed as advertised, but it had been a long time since I last cleaned my pond. There was more sludge than I expected. When dealing with the sludge, it is important to remember to take your time and move slowly so as not to overpower the motor. Now that I have the unit, this shouldn’t be an issue as I can now perform regular pond maintenance more efficiently.

READ***Not Reliable enough!
The media could not be loaded. **Update June 26th, 2025:**Let me start by saying I really wanted this gadget to live up to the hype—promised functions, decent price, and all. I gave it a second shot today and even uploaded a video to show what it can do when it's *actually* working at its best.Spoiler: when it works, it’s impressive! If it stayed at that level consistently, I’d happily give it 4 stars and keep it around. But—and it’s a big but—the suction isn’t reliable. Like in my first review, I thought a job that should’ve taken 20 minutes turned into a grueling hour-long ordeal because the vacuum kept losing suctioning. Frustrating! When it’s not working, i realized it was just moving away the dirt so it looked like it was actually cleaning but it wasn’t.It’s also pretty loud. Earplugs are a quick fix. Now, onto the nozzles—there are four that interchange, but honestly, only one is worth using. The “wide nozzle” is what works best with its angled tip that lets you really make contact to the bottom and wall surface. The problem? It’s super flimsy and keeps rotating out of place, so I had to keep readjusting it while cleaning. The narrow nozzle might have some uses depending on what you’re cleaning and from what angle, but honestly, it’s not much better. The gravel and string algae nozzles? Completely useless for me—probably for most people, to be honest. The wide nozzle is the only reason I see some potential if it weren’t for that design flaw. And finally, one more gripe—one of the foam filters keeps slipping offI can’t recommend or not recommend this product at the moment…

May be OK for a Pool, but not for rock pond
I purchased this unit to help clean/vacuum my 15,000-gal swimming pond and found it terribly inefficient to the job. Issue #1: the wide nozzle is impossible to work with. This may be great if you have a smooth service, but if you're trying to vacuum rocks (as you would expect in a pond) it rotates and I had to continually remove it from the water to get it to orient properly to vacuum the rocks, this s a serious design flaw. Issue #2: The gravel nozzle is flat rather than set at an angel, so you have to lay it flat on the gravel or you "plow" up gravel bottom. Issue #3: the discharge hose is too short to move water away from the pond. This is either a design flaw or a brilliant marketing ploy, because the end of the hose is an oddly shaped, (proprietary) so you cannot hook into any extension unless you buy something from the company. I would return this unit if I had not missed the 30-day return date.

Great Pond Vac
Works great. As advertised, easy to assemble No tools needed. More attachments than I’ll probably ever need.

Poor performance for the price range.
It is NOT capable of doing the job. I was using it to clean the bottom of a pool after some construction work around the pool side. It did not last a day. When it DID work it worked "ok"... not good, but it was able to pick up light debries but eventually the pump failed. The issue to me is that if I buy a $400-$500 tool for my woodshop, I expect a lifetime of service, not a single day of limited performance. I returned it and got a full refund. Tne truth is, you have to step up to the $700 price range to get one of these devices that begins to meet your expectations, which is what I did.

Wet vacuum cleaner with multiple uses, not just for cleaning your pond
This is a powerful wet vacuum that is advertised for cleaning out your pond, but it has more uses than just that. Use it anywhere you need a wet vacuum. In my case, I had an algae-filled swimming pool I was trying to restore; after extended treatment with chlorine, I was left with a thick layer of sludge at the bottom that my normal pool vacuum couldn't extract. I bought this machine and it handled the job easily. It comes with multiple extensions so you can reach into the deepest corners. The waste rests inside the machine until it reaches a certain level, and then gets pumped out and into the waste hose, which is about ten feet long. I can't speak highly enough about this powerful vacuum, it saved my pool and I didn't have to hire a contractor to do it.
