Mushroom Men: Rise of the Fungi - Nintendo DS

The main complaint I have read about for Mushroom Men: Rise of the Fungi was that the controls were really hard to use. They were hard to use due to the size of the screen from what I've seen. I have only played this game on the DSiXL and due to the larger screen I have not ran into these problems, this allowed me to really engross myself in the game because I was not fighting the controls.Pros:Great style- this game has a very unique style that is all on its one.Good Story- Simple but goes very smoothly.Good Sound- The music was made by one of the best, Les Claypool.Weapons- You make your weapons out of random houshold objects.Price- $5 is hard to beat for this game.Cons:Controls- Would be very frustrating on a standard size screen. Works Great on the DSiXL.Combat- Very basic combat system.

this game was a great game and a great buy to way cheaper than anything on the shelf's at walmart or gamestop. I ended up buying two of the same game one for myself and one for my cousin for his birthday. 99 cents per game is really hard to beat so two games were 1.98 with 3.99 shipping and handling which i am also glad about! I emailed the people who said they would refund me the price for one of the shipping charges because it was going to be 8.00 for shipping for both but it turned out being 3.99 for both since they put the games in one package that shipped to my house. I was very very happy with this and if you happend to get charged for shipping twice because you buy to games just tell them and they will ship it in the same package and refund you one of your shipping prices! THANKYOU SO MUCH JUST 4 GAMES!

ok game

This is fun for everyone but i will not lie it is a beast to beat.The game is great for the items you get to optimize in several ways such as if you find a pill and some batteries,you make acid pills that kill your enemies the bugs.The story line is great and very catchy on the graphics,check it out for real!!!!!!!!!!

I had fun with this. Clearly had a lot of creativity put in when it came to item crafting. Don't go in expecting a great deal of depth, but it makes for a fun little platformer. It will remain in my collection of DS games.

This game is a mini version of the Wii console version. Love every bit of it. The Mushroom Men is where it's at.

This game suffers from a recurring DS problem -- it feels obligated to make use of the touchscreen. You have to use the D-pad, the buttons and the touchscreen to get through a level -- often while being attacked.The style looks neat, but it doesn't matter because it's unplayable.

game was in good shape...it was here in a short amount of time...was as advertised..it is a fun game.... glad we ordered this game
