We saw this carafe at a sushi restaurant and thought it was really cool, so we ordered one for the house. Our crushed ice from the fridge is not as fine as the ice at the restaurant, so the carafe didn't nest well.

expected it to be larger and fill a bottle of wine.
I expected it to be much larger than it really is, you can may be chill a glass of wine the container will not fit a bottle. Right now it is sitting as a show piece on my shelf.

Beautiful and "The Price Is Right"
I originally bought these for my tequila party, although I will use them for sake now that I see how pretty they are. They could actually be used for any kind of liquid you want to present in an elegant manner and perform the function of keeping the liquid cold as well. Let your imagination shine. They are very unique and would make a wonderful gift.

Exquisite Sake Carafe for Romantic Evening
Wow! Very happy with my Sake Carafes. Decided to get two for special occasions. I display them on my mantel they are so lovely, I haven't seen anything like them before. My husband and I enjoy the special, romantic ritual of sharing different Sake together. Great fun. Plan on giving them as gifts as well.
