Happy Gourmet Set of 5 Kitchenware Silicone Suction Lids and Food Covers, Blue

Silicone suction lids were something new to me, but they seemed like just what we needed. I read reviews of various sets, and I decided on this one as the best value that had sizes we could use. We're constantly losing lids that came with our storage containers or just don't like 'em, and don't want to use foil or plastic wrap to cover everything, so these silicone lids seemed perfect for our needs. I read in other reviews that the lids come loose instantly if hit from the side or underneath, so we went in knowing this and it wasn't a problem.I found these very useful and they're just stiff enough to clean in the dishwasher. The only thing that would make them perfect is if they came with more than one of the smallest size lid. Otherwise a perfect set with sizes that cover a variety of plates and containers we need to cover.By the way, I bought these at full price after reading reviews of these and similar products on Amazon, and these are my impressions and opinions after actual use.

We saw these at our local fair and thought they were a good idea if you care about decreasing waste because they're reusable. I like using these on my plates or those bowls that don't have their own lids. They stay on with an air tight seal. They clean up easily.

Work good but they stain easily and it's unattractive, it makes it look dirty

Sound great -- wont stay.... Even when the container is round (that is without a lip.) Showercaps are a better idea.

Looked at some stretch silicone lids and ended up getting these. Why? They're rigid and stick out over the edge of the container, the handle sticks up so you can't use it for a trivet. Waste of $10. Just no.

I had received similar lids in past as a gift and wanted more variation in size so I purchased these. They are thinner than what I had but work every bit as well. The thickness variation was not unexpected as per the picture, the transparency is very visible. Using these lids saves time and money as you use less plastic wrap/foil. They do work well in the microwave. I recommend them both as a gift idea and as a useful tool in the kitchen.

These are amazing. I used to go through tons of plastic wrap for microwaving food. Now it has been almost a year since I bought any.You get a bunch of different sizes, most of which I gave to friends or stashed in a bottom drawer.Don't be fooled by the handle... you can only lift a bowl with it for a few seconds... it turns out it's very hard to clean blueberry oatmeal out of Venetian blinds.

Disclaimer: I received these items at a reduced cost in exchange for an honest review.I really like these lids. The size variety is great, they fit so many different vessels! The seal is also fantastic. No more messing around/fighting with plastic wrap!!!
