Genius
This is another one of those items that just took me forever to pick up. Have known about the top track and its uses for a while, but here is a guy that can buy 1000's of dollars in machinery over the past few months but doesnt want to shell out the money for this. Well when I decided to build myself a new miter saw table. I picked some of these up along with a couple of the production stops. I see why people love. They are machined from high quality aluminum. No dado to cut and get just right to install them like regular tracks. These things are pretty genius in my opinion. They have made repeat cuts on my miter saw so much easier and faster. I dont have the measuring tape installed on them as I would never use it. I just measure out the first board. Line it up for a cut. Lock in the production stop and away I go.

Pricey!
Great product, but can’t believe that a 2’ track is more expensive than a 4’ track. Absolutely no reason for this! Love the product and how it performs. Makes repetitive cuts simple and with the addition of the tape measure and stop it makes my miter saw a productive piece of equipment.

Very straight and rigid, Good build.
Purchased to make a sled for my Table saw. Very good build quality.Pros:- Build Quality- Does the jobCons- Cost, pretty expensive for a track in general, but seems to be the going rate.- Color, stuck with blue, Its a brand to be expected.- No holes for attaching, had to countersink a few holes in it, not a big deal but would be nice as an option.

High quality.
The top kreg track system works great on my cross cut sled. I also add the flip up stop for repeatable cuts. Very simple to install and can be shortened with a woodworking saw blade; because it’s soft aluminum. I made this sled for my old dewalt compact table saw and now I’ll need to update for my new Delta table saw.

Very happy!
I'm very happy with my Kreg track and stop system. Setting up your miter saw with stop system is mandatory in my opinion. The old tape measure/pencil mark/chase the mark and make a cut method is such a waste of time I'm amazed when I see builders doing it. Need 8 cripples at 33"? Set the stop and chop as fast as you can. And they come out perfect. Not having a stop system for your miter saw is a dumb as not having a measuring scale on your table saw.I've used the Beismeyer stop for 10 years and they work well. But they are so proud of their little stop they think it's worth over $100. For that price opted to buy 2, 4' kreg tracks and the flip stop. It works every bit as well was easier to set up.The track is easy to mount, is ridged and dead straight. There is even a little groove to lay the adhesive measuring tape into. The hairline gauge allows very precise settings. (Beware that many of the cheap $39 dollar stops you can buy have a magnifying bubble over the hair line--sounds great, but when you look at it from different angles it moves back and forth a 1/16 of an inch! That's the sort of stuff that gives engineering a bad name...)So my advice--DO NOT buy a miter saw without also building a table, fence and Kreg stop system. Sure it will take a couple hours cost $100, but it will be worth it.-Steve

Outside the box
I mounted this top track on the outfeed side of my router table fence. It does not interfere with the movement of the featherboards or the wood because it is slightly recessed from the face of the fence.Works great with the Kreg production stop to serve as a stop block for cutting plunge mortises or decorative flutes on table legs.Since I have the track on my home made chop saw fence and I also have the Kreg miter gauge for my table saw, the parts are interchangeable and constantly in use.I am a huge fan of these products - they make sense! Sticking with one quality manufacturer makes more sense, reduces your cost, and adds to your versatility.

convence
Cumple su objetivo, es sólo una guía. El material es de buena calidad y viene bien trabajado, pero bien instalado es de gran ayuda, sólo que tienes que tener alguno de los topes de la misma marca para que puedas darle un buen uso.

Works well but height restricted
As I was using the stop on a crosscut sled I never realised that the swing radius was a little too small for the sled.
