The Maze Runner Series Boxed Set (4-Book)

4.5 James Dashner created a great read with interesting concept and action pack sequences, but could've done better with character development especially in The Scorch Trial and The Death Cure. My fav are The Maze Runner and The Kill Order

Love that all the books are together because you can read one after the other. Good story for teens and great reading level

Before buying this I read the other reviews, I must admit, the last book is nothing like what the reviews, suggest, book 1 is the last book..how the virus is released.. Even states happens 8 months earlier, it occurs before the maze, then the maze is awesome, much like the movie, with small difference, scorched is the same, but in my head so much different from the movie, and the next one leaves you waiting for more.. And that is why people get confused.. How these are put together, they are not in the correct order, as all the people in the reviews say it doesn't follow on, that is because it is the beginning, it is not meant to follow the three books, those people have missed key elements to the last book, and have not put it into perspective, it is the book on the release of the flare virus, and tells the story of people whom escape the sun flares in the beginning and witnessed the first immune. Which is why it is not the last book but the first. They are all well written. Thank you James.

Loved this book series. I am the type of person who likes to follow along with audio book with physical book in hand ... Relatively quick series read and full of very suspenseful moments.... My favorite book out the series is the Prequel, Kill Order, but dont you dare read that book first ... you absolutely have to read the other three books first then read the Kill Order Prequel...The only disappoint I have, which doesnt pertain to the book more so than the movie... Movie #2 The Scorch Trials has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the book .... some books to movies stray off the path of in the movie... this not the case and in fact the book of Scorch Trials was WAAAAY more interesting and suspenseful and made a lot more sense.
