The Alkali CA5 roller hockey pants are a great intermediate level pant with lots of high end features. The CA5 is constructed from ventilated flex body fabric that has a jersey-like mesh feel to keep you cool and allow for maximum movement. The Sure-Fit belt system combined with the Flex Back waistband will keep your pants up and snug but allow you to move for maximum stride and the tough nylon knee panels add durability.

Runs Small
These pants run smaller than actual size so I had to actually return them.The quality of the pants seemed real good, and the fabric was great... very light. Stretchy crotch gusset area which was also nice.However, the belt area in getting these on was not good. Usually you have pants that have a fly style opening (like regular pants), so they are easy to get on. This style is just a cinch belt, but as I said, this makes the pant size run too small. Very hard to get on over a girdle (no matter how thin the girdle is).

Look great, fits like crap
I love the look of the pants, but the sizing is all wonky. The medium is supposed to fit a 32" to 34" waist, but I could not get it over my butt. When I measured the waist, it came out to 30" around. That's just ridiculous. After talking with some friends and scouring the internet, they all say the same thing. Opt for another brand (I've had great success with Mission, Bauer and Tour for my son and I).
