After replacing my Brookstone Boogie Board, 4 times I was ready for a change. The Boogie Board version didn't have a way to change the batteries. So once it went out after 10 thousand uses or so, you were done. You needed to trash the unit and buy another or use the warranty if still valid. So I began to shop for a better solution. I stumbled on this LCD Writing Tablet. The reviews were very good and it was reasonably priced so I gave it a try. The size was close to the Boogie Board and came with a stylus too. So glad I went with this one!The biggest upside was this version you can indeed replace the batteries with a CR2016 Button Cell Battery! Genius move! Plus the screen shows up words perfectly clear, it's not dull at all with light pressure. Actually shows even better the more you use the board. The stylus gets use to the board. The erase button works perfectly. Press the button and you have a clean board! I would definitely recommend this LCD Writing Tablet to anyone! Kids, Adults and families. I intend to buy 2 more for my kids too and one for the refrigerator. The one I bought was for the office to take notes of customers, and works great. This is an awesome item!

I'm interested in seeing how long the battery lasts, but this thing is pretty cool! It reminds me of those boards you drew on as a kid with the plastic sheet you lifted to erase it, except this one is digital... or magic... I don't know how it works but it's cool. Writing on it feels natural and text is pretty easy to read. Good replacement for an old dry-erase board in the kitchen!

The battery is a little hard to remove when I first tried it the plastic piece came out but not the battery, I thought it was broken but it's not. The screen is kind of light when you write but my son loves playing with it.

This is a pretty neat little note taking tablet, I do wish it was a bit brighter as it's hard to read. It's light enough that you could hang it on a fridge for writing things you might need from the store, or things like that. Would be nice if it had some built in magnets to do that. But I purchased mostly to take notes at my desk, things like phone numbers, etc. I don't know about durability or how long the battery lasts. Will update review if needed.

This LCD Writing Tablet seemed like it would be a neat thing to hang on the wall in the kitchen to jot down shopping items or small notes without wasting paper. I stuck a removable Command strip on the top and can take it down to write on it or write directly against the wall. Text can be copied by taking a photo with your phone, or using Google lens if you have an Android phone. The screen is responsive enough for accurate recording of handwriting, and I'm sure kids would have a ball doodling on it then wiping it clean with the press of a button.My only complaint is how dim the screen is, which I assume is from the CR2016 button cell battery being mostly drained already. Plan to invest in some batteries if you don't keep various size button cells around, but otherwise this product is a great deal for the price and makes a great replacement to a note pad!

 It was convenient when i wanna draft something and erase after. That's indeed awesome and worthy that u need it.

I am 100% satifsfied by this little tablet: compared to its $20+, branded, counterparts, it is even lighter and writes more naturally.First, as told in the photos that I upload, the screen is readable, if not clearly readable. I took the photo with an old iPhone from 2017/16, and the texts in the darker regions in the phoeo actually look as sharp as those highlight by the flashlight.What not to expect from this <10 bucks device: it does not have a magnet, and will not stick to your fridge. The “pen slot” at the bottom may not fit per the first few tries.Other than those tiny glitches, the tablet is perfect for my usage ==> to capture the TODOs for the next day.Given the price line, I should be buying three more of these tablet, if not 5 more ==> at each workstation of mine (3 in total), I shall have a tablet for today, and a tablet for tomorrow. The total cost of 6 tablest in total should be less than the price for 2 of the branded ones.PS: I have happily kept a branded tablet for years, and have no trouble with it. Yet, the stokes should be less sharp on the branded one of mine.

Great product! I use it for accounting, grocery list and drawing on it. Its a great writing utility. My kids love it.
