iFox IFS309 Wireless Portable Bluetooth Speaker for iPhone iPad Android or Computer with FM Radio, AUX, USB, SD, Speakerphone and NFC, 6W Best Bass

This is a great little speaker. It's about the size of the Beats Pill. It's got great sound and is easy to set up. iFox Creations takes the extra time and effort to contact their customers prior to its delivery to explain how to set it up, but the instructions they send are easy to follow, too. It adds a nice personal touch having someone from the company contact their customers before the speaker arrives and then again after it arrives to make sure everything is working properly. The Bluetooth pairs quickly and easily. I use the speaker to listen to music, but I also have an elderly parent living with me who has health issues and is hard of hearing. We call relatives on my cell and pair the speaker, so my mom can hear them and fully participate in the conversations. It's a great speaker for a minimal price!

1. If you're going to use it for blue-tooth mode and don't have a need to use the controls often to adjust the volume or jump forward to the next song, it's a below average product. If you plan on using the controls frequently for blue-tooth mode, I would strongly recommend against this product.2. The device does NOT come with any built-in antenna. The only way to get any kind of signal is to plug in a USB cable to the back and then move the free end (of the USB cable) around to try and find a working signal. Even with the USB cable, the ability to pickup FM signals is really not good; it picks up the stronger radio stations very weakly. I moved an old FM radio to the same places in my house and it's laughable the difference.3. The volume settings are obnoxiously loud when you first turn it on. Also, the device doesn't remember any of your settings when you power it off.4. The design of the controls is terrible. The +/- buttons are the seek button if you tap them but volume when you hold them down, not a great design but whatever. There is no readout so you don't have any feedback in terms of station you're on, volume level. You only know what mode you're in b/c there is a voice that announces "the blue-tooth device is ready to pair" and "FM tuner"; the voice is a non-native speaker that is quite grating.6. The audio itself is below average for listening to music. The audio from my wife's (old) iphone is crisper and cleaner than the audio coming out of the device.7. Most FM radios have a feature so that when they don't have a signal they either blank out the audio or significantly attenuate the audio. This radio doesn't do that so when the auto-seek function stops on a weak signal, it blares out static full volume.I would only recommend this product if you want it for the blue-tooth and are okay with low-quality audio.

This Item is excellent, i bought it to try and replace a series of sound machines we had, which i hated because they only played a 5-8 second bit over and over, even the white noise was repetitive and recognizably so. so I went looking for Nature sounds in an MP3 format from amazon and something to play them with, i originally ended up with a tiny mp3 player, and a separate speaker, which i didn't like, and had complicated controls. This device however is great, simple controls, it talks to tell you what mode you are in, the sound is gorgeous and rich, it takes an SD card and i now have about 8 hours of nature sounds that i have on repeat and my wife can understand and use the controls on this.

Nice clear sound with it's own volume control, gave 2 stars. Only worked properly for a couple weeks. Bluetooth wouldn't stay connected to Alexa! FM Radio function picked up stations that usually only an antenna was used.Was going to change rating to 4 stars because after i returned this item there Customer Satisfaction dept. Sent me a replacement unit. For their exceptional service I gave them 5 stars. I will use this unit for 4-6 weeks to verify i had a faulty unit. I like several others of their inventory but want to make sure their merchandise is quality. You will be hearing back form me in the future after I've had time to evaluate this speaker. Thank you for the exceptional customers experience, as you went above and beyond!

EDIT: I've changed my review because of the extremely awesome customer service that iFox provides. After receiving my speaker, I wasn't very pleased with it. The sound quality is about what you would expect from a $30 bluetooth speaker, however, what bothered me more was the broken English voice that it had when powering the unit on and/or changing modes or pairing your devices. It was very loud and there was no way to disable it or turn it down. Because of the many complaints, iFox has changed the voice to an American one.After leaving my somewhat negative review, iFox contacted me immediately apologized for everything and asked if there was anything they could do to remedy the situation. They offered to replace it with one of the newer models with the better voice, but were afraid that, due to the fact that some of the old stock was still with Amazon, if they sent one to me now that I would receive one of the older versions. So they instead offered to send me one of their newer, more expensive units that only came with the American voice at no cost and I didn't even have to send the old speaker back.Now that's customer service right there!CONCLUSION: If you're looking for something with a lot of bass, this isn't it, however, if you're on a budget and need something that's built well and you're not a picky listener, then this is a great alternative to the more pricey speakers out there. It has a full range of sound and gets quite loud for its size.

Amazing Sound for this compact player! The Bass is as rich and much warmer than i thought even possible, this is so mant steps above a phone or ipad speaker, Love it! Had mine on the beach and in the elements and it still works great! The only odd glitch I found, I play off USB Stick and you can not have the device charging and play music off USB at the same time.charges with a standard Android charger I use my Samsung to charge.

Good quality product, the sound is very good for a small device.The range of music inputs is impressive and it even has an FM radio though you really do need to leave the USB leadin it to act as an aerial. The only other slight dislike is when you first turn it on it starts at full volume.

Does exactly what I wanted plays my music via Bluetooth didn't realise it was a radio too when ordered so that was a bonus. Great sound quality easy to use and recharge. Great buy very pleased with the purchase
