During their lunch hour, twelve quirky, offbeat characters converge on a secluded, dusty park. Park intertwines the lives of several unsuspecting people, including a depressed and desperate woman, a philandering lawyer, his snooping wife, a pair of dog groomers, and a van of aspiring nudists. Sex, love, betrayal, sushi, and dog grooming -- and you thought it was just a quiet little park.

Troubled people in a park
A comedy/farce that tries to provide some insights into people having problems relating to others. It does a pretty good job of that despite being overly cute at times. The acting was mostly good. They shot the whole thing in this unattractive park overlooking smoggy LA.

One day in the life of a Park.....
One of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I feel sorry for that Park if these are the types of people that normally come visit during lunch hour. Now whenever I go to my local Park to walk my dog, I notice all the cars parked with people sitting in them and it makes you wonder....... are they as insane as the visitors in this movie?? As is normal for an Indy movie, there is a lot of talking about esoteric and highbrow type things. But some of the interactions of the various personalities will have you splitting your sides with laughter. Not much in the way of extras on the DVD (and I do wish I could find it in Blu-Ray), but there is a scene selection and 6 very funny deleted scenes. I know I will watch this movie over and over just to catch some new things each time. And of course, laugh hysterically till my sides hurt.

Awful. Hokey, overly dramatic and everything is tied ...
Awful. Hokey, overly dramatic and everything is tied up neatly with a bow for the characters. Very unrealistic and not worth the watch. I'm not going to spoil the film with specifics in case anyone wants to watch it, though.

That was pretty amazing.
Came into it without expectations and ended thoroughly entertained. One small set loaded with a few disposable vehicles and a team of great actors wove a set of threads into a funny flick. it's an amusement kind of humor and it's an excellent example of that genre.Well worth the watch.

Daytime Action at the Park... Part 2 is set at Night.
I've known (and experienced) Parks like the "Grabsome Park" shown in this excellent film. I'm afraid that many Viewers will rate the film based upon their own similar experiences, rather than the film's plot-line and specific situations. We all allow our personal experiences in life to season our reviews, but that doesn't mean that a non-cheating person who has not be attacked in an SUV can't see the hilarity in that situation occuring. Hahahahahahaha...I doubt that anyone will experience an epifany watching this film, but a good time will be had by all if you loosen your tie (or bra, as the case may be), forget any minor personal problems and let this "fluffy" diversion work it's magic on you. Fun, fun, fun!To my knowledge, there isn't a sequel planned, but think about the situations that could be afforded the story after night fell on the Park. Oh my.

A surprisingly funny little movie
So it's not going to win major awards and it doesn't cover massively deep concepts - but there are some seriously funny moments in this movie. I really enjoyed the cast - especially seeing a few favorites such as Rikki Lake and Trent Ford in quirky, smaller roles. The use of music is major in this one - and it's a great soundtrack. And sure, some of the action is pretty over the top but this is one of those movies that uses a bit of the surreal and farce to make a deeper point. It's about being nice. It's about being honest. And it's about being real.
