Ambient Weather YG315 Cherry Finish Dial Traditional Weather Station

I bought this for at-home preparedness and for our home school. It's a sweet little weather station. The delivery person left it outside in my garage, so when I brought it inside the thermometer was reading nearly 90'. Over the past 20 minutes, it is slowly decreasing to the indoor temp. I am pleased to see the thermometer is working. My weather app on my phone states there may be severe thunderstorms tomorrow night. Currently, the barometer is showing the needle at the rainy picture. So if it rains tomorrow...this would be right-on. Lastly, the hygrometer (measures humidity) is reading about 46%. My digital hygrometer is reading 44%. Most impressive. What I found really great, though, is the full booklet of instructions and tips packaged with the station! It explained every dial and that you need to tap the barometer to get an accurate ready, which is true for all barometers! I gave the 4-star rating for accuracy, because it looks like it will be very accurate, but I have had it less than an hour. NOTE: If you are looking for brown or wood tone, this color is definitely red. It has look of dark red blood. I'm delighted with that though as it goes with my decor.

I purchased this so that I can check the weather. It is kind is hard to read since it is small so that is why the four stars. Had to set the barometer which first seemed to be stuck. Hit it as few times and it began to read. Everything else is pretty accurate. It does look nice on the wall.

Smaller then I thought but beautiful

This was a gift for my brother for Christmas. It was exactly what he was looking for. Working well 3 months later. Reminds him of our uncle’s cabin up north.

First the good - thermometer works great but they always do. Barometer, to my greatest surprise, was very accurate and fast, though you DO NEED to tap it often, but as long as you do, it is really accurate according to my local weather station.Hygrometer spring however is not sensitive enough. No matter how you set it up after calibration, the entire range of the hygrometer is 20%. If you make it show 95% with a hot wet towel around it, like it should, it will drop down no more than to 75% after towel removed, when my dehumidifier and my other hygrometer shows 45% in the room. If you set it to show 50%, then even with a hot wet towel it will not go up more than 70%.I like the looks from a few feet distance. Looks expensive. It is misleading though, because once you touch it you see it is cheap plastic and bad stain. Either way I like the looks.Hygrometer is the most important dial for me though, because I have serious humidity problems in this house and have dehumidifiers in almost every room. This just doesn't work for me. Sending back tomorrow.

This weather station is used daily in a classroom by students to record temperature, barometer, and humidity readings. Works well. The readings seem to be accurate and the device is well-built.
