Just ok 👌
Picked these up bc they were priced lower than the other colors. Its more of a purplish pink especially the plus n minus buttons. Build quality is good button press and connectivity are good. You don't need the app to multi pair you just hit the plus and BT on one after connecting then double tap BT button on the 2nd speaker. Find that helpful, hit the helpful button. If you do use the app its simple and provides an EQ which makes a difference. Unlike other speaker apps this one doesn't ask for a whole lot of intrusive permissions. 👍Sound quality is good but not great. The bass is a low thumpy bass not a deep booming bass. The highs n mids are ok but not as bright as others. These speakers are ok but for the money there are better speakers to be had. These are not worth $200 they have been out for awhile and this color comes in about $97 but even at that price I would get others that are better for the money. I like them but wish they were more vibrant with more clarity and had a deep richer bass. They sound like a film is over the speakers or something. Slightly muffled with bass distortion. The latency is ridiculous when watching videos. Two of them sound decent enough. The EQ in their app helps and the battery life is very good. Stereo mode sounds better so you're gonna need 2 of these. What sounds better? 3 of these. What makes it sound more immersive? Getting 4 of these. But thats nearly $400. Get a JBL Boombox. These speakers are just OK. Good if you get more than one and use an EQ but they are not great speakers. There are better sounding speakers for less. I'm a UE fan and bought 4 of these to get a satisfactory sound out of these. 😐

Excellent speaker
This is an outstanding speaker. You can even turn it on from your smartphone using the app. The sound is amazing and the battery life is really high. The only problem I can see regarding the Megaboom is that is a little big big if you want to travel with it, I would suggest the regular Boom for that, but I have this one for my home and it’s awesome. The sound comes from all the device, so it doesn’t matter where is it “pointing”, you’ll get the same sound quality, which is perfect

Speaker was blown when I received it.
The speaker sounded great if it wasn't for the fact that the speaker was blown and would pop and crackle every time the bass hit. I'm disappointed in Amazon and UE for their lack of quality control.

Worth it
I went with this model because it was discounted in price I am assuming due to the coloring. Which for me was fine because the reviews for the MegaBoom are all in the top 3 bluetooth speakers. I purchased the JBL Flip 5 and this Mega Boom for review, since these 2 speakers were both within my price range and are both in the top 5 in best bluetooth speakers. The Megaboom really does provide the rich bass sounds that you want to hear. However, when playing songs that have violins or instrumental music without a lot of bass use, the Megaboom doesn't hold up. The sounds are a bit muddy sounding. Whereas the JBL Flip 5 provides very crisp sound for those types music and does not hold up well with bass heavy sound.I did multiple song samples of the two speakers and overall for me, I really wanted that bass that the Megaboom provides over the JBL.

Didn't last past two years. I guess I got what paid for.
I purchased 2 speakers May of 2020. Now the speakers will not sync to other Bluetooth devices and one of the speakers will not charge and appears to have a short. I guess I got what I paid for. I thought for $100 speakers they would last longer than 2 years.

Bluetooth connectivity issues and sound not as expected
Great battery life. I got this item discounted for $98.00, so the price was not as steep as other postings in Amazon. We got two of them, this and the Amazon special black and red edition, to use them paired up, as advertised. The other one we got it at regular price. The MegaBoom has a decent sound, however, not as loud as the Charge 4 and when at full volume the difference is not noticeable, and the Charge 4 is “mono”. The biggest issue is interference when connected in stereo mode with other Megabooms, like even standing in between them causes distortion and connection issues, and the phone disconnects even if 40 feet away from the speaker, so Bluetooth? Meh. Not worth the $ IMO. Both MegaBooms were exchanged, one for a Charge 4 (better connectivity and pretty much same sound) and the other one for a JBL Xtreme 2. If you want to use it outside, I do not recommend these. We took em to the beach and the both of them together were just not loud enough and even beach waves muffled the music. Like, not worth it at all. Phone is an iphone for reference. Overall, the connectivity issues were the biggest problem, for the $ not a good purchase. Also, if you put it in the water it stops reproducing music until you take it out, so the advertisements where you can see it submerged and playing? Lies.

Nice Portable Speaker with Decent Base Mode
Purchased this to take with me when I travel so that I can have my music wherever I go. I originally purchased the JBL Flip 5 speaker for the same purpose but returned that because it had absolutely no base to it. The UE Megaboom 3 definitely runs rings around the Flip when it comes to base. Music without base to me has no point. Am I getting what would be a perfect sound to my ears, no I am not, but for the price I was willing to pay, it’s good enough. I listen to a lot of Soul, Caribbean and African music, so base is VERY important to me. This gives enough of what I need to make me happy when I am out and about.

Maybe the best Bluetooth speaker I've ever owned?
A few years back, a friend of mine had 2 of these guys and I was blown away by the quality. My old speaker broke and it was time for an upgrade, so I chose the Megaboom 3.I've been using it now for 8 months and to say I am more than pleased is an understatement. It plays pretty loud, has above average sound quality for something it's size and battery life is good for a full day of beach or pool parties.I use mine approx 8-10 hours every day and life would be much different without it. I a going to pull the trigger and add a 2nd.If you are on the fence, it's time to pull the trigger and pick one up. You will not be disappointed.

Honestly does not work.
I can exactly give a proper review, I’ve received it and have charged it for over an hour and it continues to say critical battery, charging. I honestly would not recommend this. I will be sending back, I’ve heard you can click the - button and the power button to reset it but still no change. I’ll update tomorrow and change review if it works.

UE Megaboom 3: Awesome Speaker
Some songs sound a bit muddled but most are fantastic. Great speaker. Distance is pretty good. Not sure about battery life except that I haven't had to recharge yet! Good sign. Turns off automatically when not in use. No trouble pairing it with my Windows 10 driven laptop except that it reads as headphones instead of external speaker. Don't think this affects the sound. Hopefully it lasts.

Discounted Price, New Product, wonky wifi connection
Seller - 5/5 Stars - Can't complain about purchasing a product that is going for 50 to 80 dollars less then getting it at your local Best Buy. As long as you don't mind the colour. It's brand new, not a refurbished item or used item. Seller gets back to your messages very fast.Amazon - 5/5 Stars - Was able to get Prime 1 Day shipping. Win/WinProduct - 3.75/5 Stars - Thoroughly enjoy it. Could use more bass though. Tends to be a bit more wonky with Bluetooth connectivity then my previous JBL Charge 4. Enjoying the 360 soundscape. Will provide an update in 2 weeks

Best within comparable products
Excellent sound quality for the price, I've been looking at a lot of comparable speakers and I do think this one has the better bass. Previously bought JBL Charge 3 and returned it because of poor sound quality (even JBL Xtreme has a worse sound than this one in my opinion). Only other comparable is Bose Soundlink Revolve+ but at twice the price.Obviously it is a battery powered speaker so you wont get bass response like a regular speaker where power management is not an issue, but it will sound great on most music styles. For really bass heavy tracks with punchy bass kicks, it won't do but I havn't found 1 bluetooth speaker that will.Definitely recommend!

Best speaker in my collection
I have quite a few from budget JBL speakers to the massive B&W Zeppelin and this little "bottle" speaker is by far my favorite as I can take the room-filling sound from my treasured Zeppelin in a way smaller package.Great for parties and small gatherings!!
