These are great! I actually got them for my hiking hammock so I'll tell you a little backstory to show the quality of these.So before I got these carabiners, I got this hiking hammock and it worked great for what I needed it for (sitting a spell in the middle of nowhere). However, when I tried to sleep in it during an overnight trip, I couldn't get into my BIVY sack and into the Hammock comfortably (with a sleeping bag inside the bivy). I ended up bouncing around on it for about 45 minutes, which was apparently too much for the "S" brackets to handle. So just as I got comfortable and the other guys asked "Hey, how are you making out over there?", I responded "I'm good. I think I can sleep like this..." CRASH!!!! I fall a few feet to the rock bed (think 9 inch circumference rocks) below.Now, yes i have put more weight on the hammock in the past, and yes the original brackets were just "S" brackets, but nonetheless, but busted my butt at 3:00 in the morning. So my brother hands me a pair of these and tells me to try them. I do, and they got a thorough testing that night as well. And they held up.The next day, I bought 2 pairs (one for me, one for my fiancé and her hiking hammock). We've both tested them out pretty extensively and they've held up greatly so far.Bottom line, I would recommend these.

Perfect to hang large double hammock on our dock. One pair of scarabiner stay hooked to the support and the other pair are with the hammock. Just hook the two together and enjoy the afternoon. Easy and cool.

Bought these to replace the original steel hardware that came on my Eno hammock. They've worked great for me. I would definitely buy again or recommend these to anyone.

I am pretty sure I could latch these bad boys onto a battleship and pull it onto land, plus they weigh next to nothing. Highly recommended.

This review is for the Ultralight Carabiners - I received these at a deep discount in exchange for an honest review.These ended up being exactly what I was looking for, just the right size for a hammock and they seem really well made and surprisingly lightweight. As a bonus you get two for what normally you might pay for a single. Overall, a great product.

I own several hammocks that I use when I go camping. Many of them came with their own steel carabiners, but they are heavy and have some sharp edges. These are very lite and polished smoothe with the spring clip allowing for a large easy to use opening. I am not a gram wennie, but these really are much nicer than the steel carabiners. Plus I keep them clipped to the outside of my pack in case of any other need that may come up.

These shipped quickly. We attached these to nylon straps to hang our hammock to easily put it up and take it down. We have been using these for about 2 weeks and they are working great!
