We bought this kit as an activity for our daughter / family. We decided to make ourselves a themed family tracksuit.The instructions were clear and pre filled bottled dyes were very easy to use. The kit came with gloves, but we used our own as they were very thin (like the ones that come with cans of expanding foam)We decided to set up outdoors and used half the bottles and managed to dye 5 adult garments and 3 child garments.The girls left the dye to set for 3-4 hours and then rinsed for a pastel effect. I left mine overnight to keep the colours brighter (see pic). Yes its garish!The kit came with elastic bands which were great for making the knee patches, the spouts are reasonably fine and allow design with careful application.The only minor downside is that the rinsing stage is laborious, even with very prolonged and heavy rinsing the white cotton picked up some of the residual dye. This can make newer fabrics look old / vintage. I suppose it would be possible to bleach the white back, but have not tried that yet.Overall I would recommend this kit. Its a fun activity and children will enjoy it (with close supervision, outdoors recommended) There is also a sense of pride from creation rather than purchasing. I would use again and am looking forwards to using the remainder of the kit.

I love this Tie Dye kit. I gave it to my 9 year old son and 11 year old daughter to Tie Dye some white tshirts they already had. The kit came with rubber bands, gloves and wrapping to wrap your project up in whilst the colour takes for 6-8 hours. They did 5 tshirts and there was still some left to easily do another one if not two. It was very easy, they just filled the bottles with water after putting rubber bands on the tshirts and shook the dye and started choosing which colours to put where. They then wrapped the tshirts in the wrap that came with it and left them for 6 hours and the tshirts came out vibrant and colourful. The kids love them.

I make re-usable make-up wipes and sandwich bags from fabric and bought this kit to try and dye my own fabric. I used it on white cotton and I am really pleased with the results! The colours are really vibrant (very vibrant on my hands too - should have worn gloves, doh!). I like the example patterns that come with the instructions - I was able to try a number of these and the dye goes a long way.I have done tie-dye before but I would say that these are easily used by anyone, even if it's your first time, and saves the hassle of buying lots of different coloured dyes as they all come in one box! Happy customer! :)

I was really impressed with this product. The bottles come ready prepared with powder and are easy to prepare for dyeing. There are a couple of colours that it would be useful if their bottles recommended a lower volume of water added to improve their vibrancy but still really pleased with the results. Really useful that it comes with the tablecloth as, depending on the fabric, dyeing can be very messy. You can also remove some powder into a separate container and mix with water later if you do not wish to use all of the dye at once (roughly 1g of powder to 20ml of water) because the colour will lose intensity after around 45 mins of preparation. If you're happy with the results you'll have most of the equipment you need to simply re-order dye powder.Have recommended to lots of friends as a fun way to reuse clothes you don't wear or whites that have lost their brightness and to keep yourself amused during lockdown.

An excellent kit, purchased for my children and their friends as an activity in the summer holidays. The dyes worked extremely well and are vibrant. They have also washed well, some items are still in use 18 months later and still look amazing :) They all had a fantastic time making their T-Shirts. Recommended.

I used this product today with my girls and we had a great time. The gloves that came with the kit weren't great, as the dye went through to our fingers.....but otherwise we found it very easy to use. The instructions gave us some good ideas on different designs although you could tell it was written by a non-native english speaker. It wasn't a big deal though. It was great to have 12 different colours and they are of good quality. I would recommend this to anyone and I'll buy it again.

The dyes went on well, the instructions were ok, but we had watched some youtube videos beforehand and I’d recommend doing so. The dyed t shirts looked AWESOME when we first undid them but washing them wasn’t so kind. It does say to wash separately, but we took that as without other clothes and put all 6 garments in the machine at once. This may be why they t shirts then become overloaded with dye and the colours have changed but it was pretty disappointing after such great results at the unravelling point. So I’d definitely say wash only one garment at a time!But lots of dye and could easily have done the same amount again, some colours weren’t even used. They came in a nice box, so could be a fun gift.

So far I'm impressed. I wanted a more pastel look so tipped out half the powder into plastic bags to use again. I'm really happy with how they turned out but will have to see how the look after a few washes. I did also dye some white joggers with pink blue and orange and the orange and pink completely washed out on the first wash. So I do definitely think it depends on the fabric you are dying and the colours you are using. Definitely value for money and really easy to use. I didn't find it too messy.

There was NO REDunfortunately one of the PRIMARY COLOURS was just an empty bottle with no red powder

Por fin he sacado un hueco para utilizar el producto. He teñido 5 preciosas camisetas y me ha quedado producto para teñir muchas más. El producto ha llegado con todo lo indicado en la descripción. Creo que es fácil de usar porque sólo hace falta rellenar los botes con agua y esparcir el color en la camiseta (para mi gusto mejor mojada porque el color se esparce).Lo que me ocurrió es que con la primera camiseta utilicé todo el tinte y me resultó un naranja muy intenso (por lo que luego le eché lejía para que aclarara). Por lo que aconsejo hacer caso a las instrucciones que te dice que si quieres un color más claro puedes echar más agua. Yo lo que hice las siguientes veces es poner la mitad del tinte en otra botella. Además, así tengo el mismo color para volver a teñir otras camisetas. También me parece interesante la posibilidad de hacer mezclas entre colores, yo lo hice y me resultó sencillo.En definitiva, me parece un muy buen producto, con el que puedes teñir muchas camisetas y puedes obtener muchas tonalidades y colores.

Die Farben kommen mit einer Anleitung. Dort werden verschiedene Batik-Techniken einfach erklärt. Es war keine deutsche Anleitung dabei, aber die englische war für mich einfach und verständlich. Die Bilder helfen. Das auftragem der Farbe war für meine Kinder ( 5 und 7 ) einfach und ein riesen Spaß. Einfach der Anleitung folgen, dann kann man nichts falsch machen. Ich empfehle aber einen Farbfixierer zu benutzen. Wir werden das Batiken sicher nochmal wiederholen.

Era la primera vez que compraba algo así para teñir ropa y probar a hacer el famoso tie dye y la verdad que la experiencia ha sido genial.Decir que el producto viene supero completo, incluye gran variedad de colores y ademas material para que el proceso sea lo mas cómodo y limpio. Ademas de los recipientes con todos los colores incluye abundantes gomas elásticas, guantes de plástico (muy necesarios para no dejarte las manos teñidas durante algún día) y un plástico protector para cubrir el lugar donde decidas trabajar.He de decir que tras teñir varias prendas los tintes son fantásticos he incluso un mismo bote da para teñir mas de una prenda. En mi caso lo recomiendo por toda la combinación de colores y el buen resultado de las prendas que he teñido.
