Had some nice iron swivel chairs on the patio and both broke...we thought we would need to buy new...but realized the part that broke was replaceable. Found these for a good price and grabbed them. Despite mixed reviews, we didn't have any issues. These fit well in the chairs and we are back to using them!

Fit is too tight for me to get it the last 1.5 inches into the stand housing. Do I need a bearing press to install this?

Although this looks like the white bushing in our dinette set ChromCraft chairs, it does not fit, even with machining. The correct bushing for our chairs is the black one, which fits perfectly although it looks completely different. Both rate high, but be careful to measure your chair pedestal inner diameter to nearest 1/8 inch and order the one that fits.

My family and I use high-end patio furniture daily in our casual lifestyle. The swivel rockers that I replaced the bushings in will literally last forever with a minimum of care. The bushings you sell are very good quality (the same as the original items). Thank you for a well made product!

Tried fixing my older chairs with these but they are not the right dimension to keep the chairs from wobbling.

I broke the original insert while moving. This replacement fit as good or better than the original.Avoid a squeaky swivel down the road and coat it with silicone lubricant.

Would not work

Ordered a pair, one was formed correctly, the other should have never been shipped. The bottom snap section was non-existent. It wasn't broken, it was never formed at the factory. Enough material was formed that I could us it, however a solid 3/4" was missing at the bottom. I have concerns with it's long term reliability. Assuming this is a fluke, I recommend this as a solid solution to loose or squeaky swivel patio rockers.
