Kleanbrew by Artisan Barista - Reusable Stainless Steel Filter for Hario V60 01 Coffee Maker

I really do like the idea of a stainless steel reusable filter but this one didn't quite perform as well I would of liked. Flow rate much too restricted to brew in proper time. Even grinding very coarse, the coffee ends up dilute yet overextracted by too much contact time with grounds. That being said if you find the proper grind, even though it takes 4-5 minutes to brew, you can still end up with a decent cup of coffee.

This was my favorite coffee one cup dripper.I used for probably a year, to clean I ‘gently’ tapped over garbage to get grinds out, then one day the little metal bottom came out. I tried using it by just placing it in the bottom of filter but no good. Had to say goodbye. I keep expecting things to last longer. ☹️

The way this is manufactured allows coffee grounds to end up in your cup.The tip of the cone is spot welded (poorly, see photos) onto the filter.There are large gaps which appear between the cap of the cone and the rest of the filter, allowing coffee grounds to fall through to the cup. There's no way around it, it consistently leaves grounds in my cup. I'm using this with the Hario V60-01.Only giving it two stars because the coffee made still tastes great, but pour-overs are not supposed to leave sediment in the cup. Seems like a good product ruined by poor manufacturing and lack of quality control.

We've been using these at our coffee house for months now without issue! Super nice way to save on paper filters. I will say though that they need to be soaked regularly with espresso machine cleaner/tablets to keep water running smoothly through them or they will "bog down" and get very slow (must be from oily build up).

Mesh is so fine it does not allow coffee to flow through the sides. Water will only flow from the three holes in the bottom of the filter which is way too slow for my needs. The product looks well built and the size is perfect for me. I put water in the filter straight from the package no water came through the mesh holes in the side of the filter. The dish washer might open the holes some but not enough for me.When I hold the filter to my mouth and blow or suck air through it there is little resistance.

Fits my Hario small (1-2 cup) pour-over coffee maker and makes a great cup of coffee. Rinses clean easily, but I run it through the dishwasher daily, as well.

Well made. Although it stated the model I didn't check and it is smaller than what I had anticipated.

Happy to have a reusable filter for my Hario single glass coffee dripper.
