AIR HUNTERZ ZX Cross Bow

Product arrived on schedule and in new condition. I'm very pleased with it: the crossbow is made of quality plastic and seems durable, the elastic bands have held up so far with no problems and the arrows have a good combination of flex and weight. I bought this as part of an arms escalation in a Nerf war and it definitely competes for accuracy and it hits harder than your standard nerf dart. When you shoot someone, they'll know it!A few things to note:It is accurate out to about 30 feet easilyThe arrow is locked into position - by this I mean that you can run around and still fire without the arrow falling out, like in some other toy crossbowsPistol grip feels good in the handIt comes with only three arrows but you can order moreBe aware:You can't have accuracy and range without it having some power behind it - don't shoot someone point blankThe color scheme is awful, I pulled off the stickers and I'm in the process of repainting.

I ordered this for a Christmas time activity for my grandkids. It is good for ages 4 and up. Even at that age it is a little difficult for them to pull back to get ready to shoot, and they need assistance. With practice they can get it. It seems very durable. It lasted up to an hour of continual shooting by ages 2 up to teens. The little ones you have to pull it back and then let them pull the trigger. It has a safety that you have to switch each time, which is nice to prevent accidental shootings at people or things. Great toy. One things though....the suction cups don't stick longer that 2 seconds and they don't stick to everything like stated. I didn't take any stars away for that, but you should know.

We got this, unsure of whether my son (8) would actually want it or like it. This was the best christmas present of the year! He plays with it non stop, has no trouble relocating his ammunition and it keeps him happy for hours. The bullets are brightly colored so when he fires it outside he can find them easily. The bands are stiff but not so much that a small boy cannot operate them. Plus the loud thump on impact is very satisfying. We got him both the cross bow and the z-curve bow so he could swap out. He loves them both. I highly recommend for boys of all ages (my husband enjoys them as well).

This toy is perfect for the kid (or adult) who likes shooting toys. Got this for my 8 year old godson and we had a blast. The toy is strong, and held up to our initial trials at christmas. It was a little pricey, but i think it will last longer than other similar toys.

My son wanted a Batman-style grappling-hook gun (i.e. a Grapnel). The actual Batman licensed product shoots little nerf darts which isn't what My son wanted.This products works perfectly. It shoots far, sticks to walls and ceiling without leaving marks, and ribbon can be easily tied to the arrows so that they can function like a real Batman grapnel.Because there's more power with this toy than a normal Nerf gun, you have to be careful about shooting people in the face, but the arrows are soft foam (the same kind used in "stress balls"), and I haven't had a problem with them at all.

I really wanted to like this, the bows are awesome but this falls short. It shoots just fine but nowhere near as far or as hard as the bows. As a novelty, I am sure it is fine.

My six yo loves this toy which I got him for Christmas. He is thrilled but has a hard time with the trigger/safety set up which has been hard for him to use. Otherwise, it is 5 stars

Make sure you do not leave these outside in the sun. We live in Arizona and my sons made the mistake of leaving them out for a day and the bungee rubber bands dried out and broke (mind you it was winter). Also the arrows are foam and the tips break off when you put them into the firing part and once the sides of the tips break off you cannot use them in the bow any longer. This was a Christmas present for my young sons and it did not even make it to February before it was trashed. Total waste of money. I would not purchase again.
