Ardenbrite is a range of very high quality metallic paints. They are quick drying and brushes can be cleaned with methylated spirits. This is arguably one of the best products on the market for producing a truly metallic look. An excellent finish every time. Sovereign Gold is the closest looking alternative to gold leaf.

Excellent antique gold metallic paint
Great metallic Antique Gold paint. I have used it in the past and it creates an excellent antique gold finish. Not easy to find a local stockist. Fast delivery and well packed. Highly recommended

Liquid Gold
Fantastic paint, looks like gold and flows on like water, no brush marks. Worth every penny.

Good as gold!
Amaaaazing!!! Brought 3 of the 500ml tins and it's exactly the colour stated on the tin, I brought it to refurbish and to bring some old rusty metal decor vases back to life, needs a good shake in the tin and the way the colour floats is quite mesmerising!!! It's a light stain if using a brush but if using a roller 2-3 coats brings out its true colour drys amazingly too!!

Excellent product. It is really difficult to find good ...
Excellent product. It is really difficult to find good gold paint, most of them end up looking really brassy, this has a easy going look that works with many colour schemes. To use, you have to work quickly as it dries on the brush and starts rolling up because it is a solvent paint, once used to it, it goes on a treat, for extra durability, consider the lacquer.

Dissapointing
I am extremely dissapointing ,, because after complaining about this sovereign gold paint , was sent a replacement tin , which on the 4th time of gilding antique furniture , opened tin to find it was very thick at bottom of tin , difficulty stirring , gone a dirty brownish colour , plus when I applied on a piece of paper , what I had stirred best I could came out very gritty and lumpy , not at all what I expectedI was delighted to find a paint which was near to a gold leaf colour but as it is expensive for such a small tin , did not expect it to go off so quicklyIt was not that I had not sealed the lid on properly
