WORTH EVERY PENNY
On April 23rd 2023 I got up at approximately 12:30am, my blood pressure dropped and I fell to the floor. As soon as I hit the floor my SKYANGEL went off. I was able to give my address to the 911 operator. If I had not had my SKYANGEL I would have been laying there for hours as I was not expecting company until the next afternoon. I had 3 compressed fractures to my spine. WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY IS MY SKYANGEL IS WORTH EVERY PENNY I PAID FOR HER. SHE IS ALWAYS IN MY POCKET EVEN WHEN I GO TO BED. DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY HER IT REALLY GIVES YOU PEASE OF MIND. OH!! BY THE WAY I'M 80 years old.

No gps
I call the phone number on instructions left a message . I received a call back in a reasonable time. I asked about the GPS and explained to me there's no gps u would have to give your address. Also 911 confirmed they can not see my address I would have to provide it to them.

Comfortable to wear
79 years old, with several health conditions: Because it is comfortable, I wear it every day. I tested it once in the place I was most likely to fall (bottom of the stairs). It worked just fine with the drop motion. I will test it in a month in the kitchen to make sure appliances don’t block the signal. I’ll update this post then. And I always put it on the floor in the bathroom where I can reach it if I fall out of the shower. No, I don’t sleep with it, but it is on the headboard where I can reach it if I need it, and the blinking light on it tells me where it is in the dark. I just kind of wish it still had a good GPS in case I’m unconscious and can’t speak. Update: Been wearing this for six months now. Test it monthly. Charge it every other night. This model does not have GPS (wish it did, along with 5G). Funny story: I was at the children’s museum, earthquake exhibit, jumping up and down on platform to see how strong and earthquake we could produce. Suddenly the 911 operator was talking to me thru SkyAngel. We all laughed and apologized to the operator.

Nice unit
I got this for my Father. He refused to wear it. Pride or denial i guess. His girl friend thought people would use it to spy on them. Ya might want to check with who you are thinking about buying it for to see if its something they would wear before making the purchase. I do some bicycle riding on my own and am thinking about wearing it while riding just in case.

Works well
I bought this for my mother who lives alone. She did not like the weight of it on her chest. I think it can be worn as a key chain also but that would not work in the house if you didn't have a pocket on your clothing. We returned it. It does work well as I accidently pressed the button and 911 answered right away.

Loved the concept, but....
Got it because friends and family were concerned that I'm 75, and live alone. Attractive little item, very comfortable to wear under a shirt. First test - no response from 911. So I turned it off. Tried it in every room in my home - still no response. Lastly, tried it upstairs in my bedroom. No response, but this time I didn't turn it off. Five minutes later, I awoke in bed because it was talking to me! I thanked the 911 operator, and explained it had been just a test. Apparently, if the initial call doesn't go thru, it waits five mins and tries again. But because it does not give you the dial tone and ring sounds, you never know this! It only turns on the speaker when the call has connected to 911. But at least, it functions. So, I wore it around for several days. And had it make calls at unexpected times - I never pushed the button - but maybe there was some pressure when it was under my shirt?? Anyway, after 3 false calls to 911, and having their voices come out of my shirt - I put it on my nightstand. Guess I can use it if I fall in the bedroom.... if I can reach it then ......

Exactly as promised
I like the direct 2-way speakerphone to 911, and no monthly contract. ... Heavily advertised Life Alert has a monthly contract. Over 3 years, the cost would be $3,762 as compared to Sky Angel 911 FD 3-year cost of only $180. ... I bought one for my wife also.
