David Pawson has done a tremendous job writing this book. Though you can see that he favors certain beliefs concerning the book of Revelation, he does a good job of finding the slice of truth in the many other ways of interpretation. It has a bit of humor, great history and tons of research that have all gone into writing this book.David also has a way of taking the many stones that Christians hurl at other Christians and other Churches and turning them into stones that we can cast at ourselves. Wonderful book and well worth your read.

David Pawson breaks open a difficult book and explain bit by bit in a very rational and historically and biblically solid manner. He is honest about what he does know, briefly shares other viewpoints too and does not limit the discussion to only his point of view. This book is an excellent read from a humble and well studied biblical teacher and helped me a lot to make sense of Revelations in general.

This is a very useful book as read with Bible. I will encourage others to buy and benefit from this Book. David Pawson writing is very simple read and understand. Dr. Vijay Moses

David Pawson gives historical information about how the 1st Century Christians would understand what John was writing about, that along with his avoidance of interpretation or theology of what it all means gave me the best perspective on Revelation I have had to date. It's an easy read, easy to understand, and a useful tool if you are doing a Bible Study on the Book of Revelation.

Pawson is a new writer to me. His European background and unique Christian experience is very apparent in his writing. This book presents a somewhat different viewpoint from the approach usually taken by North American Evangelical writers. It is well-argued, logically presented and has an easy style of presentation. I recommend it to anyone interested in getting a fully rounded package of information on Revelation.

As an ardent but sane Christian I have tended to avoid the book of Revelation. But as God seems to take this book of the bible more seriously than any of the other 65 books, I reckoned I'd take another stab at it with the help of somebody known to be of sober mind, enter David Pawson. Except for the common mistake made by preachers, namely repetition, which he does to a mild degree, his exergesis is tremendously helpful and very deserving of 5 stars.

This was bought not for myself but I have been told it is a brilliant book but takes a lot of reading to absorb the contents. I am assured a good book but not for beginners to Christianity. Bought via Amazon

David Pawson is a very respected teacher, and as I am trying to get into the Revelation to John, I felt that this would be a good course of study.
