NYX Stick Blush - Tea Rose #05

I don’t do a review for makeup or skin products until I’ve had plenty of time to truly asses their value. I will definitely be buying this blush stick again bc it has really impressed me. The consistency is similar to lipstick, as is the smell, so for this reason, initially I found it off putting. However, I gave it a try and what I found is that it’s the best blush stick I’ve ever bought. I have breakout prone skin so this really limits the skincare products I can use. I have been thrilled that there is no issue with using this on sensitive skin! And the price was just a lucky bonus. The shade/color is actually manipulatable according to how much you use, and it’s quite lovely. I only held back on my rating bc one area measured is “sheerness” and it’s definitely heavier than most, so that might be an issue for some. But again, a controlled application decides the “heaviness” you end up with. Overall, GREAT product and I’m so glad I gave it a shot! ☺️

It was very dry

Love the color and was so excited to try it out, as I'm switching from powder makeup. Sadly, once I opened the package I noticed the lid was only half on.. kinda all the way down on one side and lifted on the other. Once I removed the cap, the makeup look swatched. Better safe than sorry, so returning for a new one though, as I do like this color and brand!Update: got my new one shortly after, it is a pretty color! I'll wear it on days with only bb cream and such, bc it doesn't blend too well for me. It also ends up picking up whatever I have on underneath. I want to love it more, so I'll give it a few more chances.

Product is nice for cheeks but far too expensive for the amount you get. The color stick itself is only ONE inch! As for using on your lips...it's a bit hard to apply since the stick is round and flat.

NYX no longer carries this tube of blush in retail stores. I'd had mine for a few years and finally ran out and was digging into the tube for the last bit. I was so happy to find I could still order it! Tea Rose is the perfect color year round with any outfit for me. Happily Blushing!

So happy I found this! Beautiful, creamy blush in stick form, color easily built up or sheered out to suit occasion/user. Excellent price point, high-end results at drugstore prices. Lovely on mature skin!

I am hooked on NYX products. When I saw they had a cream blush, I just had to try this. I am a pail red head with pink undertones so I went with the Tea Rose. I was not disappointed! So creamy and buildable. Does not streak and stays on all day. I would compare this to a Stilla cream blush without the sticker shock.Thanks NYX!

While this one seemed a little too heavy to apply directly to my cheeks and blend, it works best for me to apply a little to my fingertips on both hands, rub them together a little and then apply on my cheeks. It seems to be very moisturizing so I think it will work better as a blush on me during the cooler months, but I do really like it for a hint of color on my lips - I'll probably use it more that way during the warmer months. It's a really pretty color!

This is a natural looking blush and a beautiful color I would buy again.
