We always noticed women wearing sporty plastic looking shells or ski jackets while outside in the rain, wind and snow. We wanted to give them something that looked great, yet kept them cozy, warm and dry. Using the same technology as the big outdoor brands we have been able to develop fashion forward coats, using the same technology, but with fashion fabrics and stylish design. go UP at least one size with this coat...
Normally I am a size small, so I ordered a medium to be on the safe side as this product listing does not come with a sizing chart. In all fairness, I would recommend going UP 2 sizes because this jacket is tight. I would return mine but they are all out of size large and I have no idea when they will be restocking.STYLE: 5 stars - it is very cute and flatteringCOMFORT: 4 stars. The inner fleece is very nice, however this jacket is tight (form fitting) and not flexible at all, I cannot raise my arms even half the way up while it is zipped. This will make for uncomfortable driving or long time wear. I have a competitor waterproof/breathable parka for winter temperatures which cannot be worn most of the year, but they managed to make it comfortable and maneuverable, something this Mia Melon coat is lacking. BUT, as long as you are not raising your arms much, there shouldn't be much trouble.To sum it up: Go up a minimum of 1 size, 2 sizes up for more comfort in the arm area. It is a gorgeous jacket and the olive green is my absolute favorite color. I do see myself wearing this as much as I can, though don't expect to do outdoor sports such as camping, hiking, etc in this jacket. Not worth the price if you are buying for functionality over fashion but this coat has a "happy medium" between the two.Also, I am disappointed that there are no care and/or washing instructions for this coat anywhere.

I wanted to love this so bad
I wanted to love this so bad, but I had to return it. It was so lightweight and warm inside and still lightweight. Plus, I love the structured look.But, the sleeves were too long, the hood was huge and sort of odd shaped (like I was wearing a futuristic motorcycle helmet, ha). I'm a pear shape: small waist, medium boobs and large bottom. It was awkward to zip up the jacket, even with the adjustable zippers in the back and it was a tad too tight across my chest. Love the concept, but I knew if I kept it I would likely not wear it.

LOVE this jacket
LOVE this jacket. I was supposed to get black but got green? I'm okay with it though..I actually really like the green. Have gotten complements almost every time I wear it. The material doesn't seem completely waterproof, but I stayed warm and dry my entire time in Scotland and Ireland. The sleeves could be a bit longer, which seemed to restrict mobility of my arms a bit. All in all...I love this jacket and would definitely buy again.

This is an amazing and versatile coat
This is an amazing and versatile coat. It's fashionable and yet also seems practical and useful for a wide variety of weather. It does fit a bit snug, but is comfortable. Overall I'm very excited about it.
