Did not do the job at all. I'm a mechanic so do oil changes daily. This would not grip on 50% of the filters i tried it on to the point I could not be bothered to even try it on future jobs and just reached for my old faithful. Do not buy.

Had a stubborn filter on Toyota RAV 4 that would not budge with grips or cup. This broke the seal and removed the filter in seconds. Should have bought first but price was a bit high. It is however very well made and worth the money and fixed what was a frustrating job.

Was surprised how useful this piece of kit was. Used it to access an oil filter that was hard to reach and take off and it worked really well. Some slippage happened while unscrewing but with some perseverance filter came off quickly and fairly easily. Seems solid and good for years of use I reckon.

just what I needed for an awkward filter on my JD 1026R but a bit small for most filters and not a lot of depth will still rely on my chain clamp for most occasions.

I use this for normal oil filter now as it is pretty good for that however it’s no good for any bmw or Mercedes plastic cap filter. It hasn’t fitted and bmw or merc I have come across as a normal oil filter remover for metal oil filters it’s pretty good.

An amazing product, a good adjustable size and a locking mechanism whether to screw on - (tighten) or unscrew - (loosen) the oil filter.
