Somehow I must have stepped on the USB connector and deformed half of it. Luckily I found this pair of chargers available on Amazon for almost half price. It does indeed charge the Versa-2 Fitbit! I like the fact that it sits flat too. although that isn't anything that I would pay more to get.

These work just like the regular FitBit charger that came with my watch. I didn't need two of them, but the price for 2 was cheaper than 1 so here we are. Charges quickly, efficiently and a great value.

These chargers do indeed work as expected in charging a Fitbit Versa 2. Similar to the one that comes standard with the Versa 2. These come with a USB-A end, so you can use any plug-in wall wart power supply that has a USB-A connector. If there is a downside to these units it's that they do not work if you have one of the wrap-around style screen protectors on your Fitbit like I do. But it's a simple matter to remove the protector so I don't see it as being that big of an issue.
