This is the first time we bought bento boxes. I read lots of reviews before deciding on these and we think we made the right choice!Pros:- the inner trays are removable and the trays themselves are dishwasher safe. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻- the sections in the trays are BIG! Although we use these for our preschooler, there is easily enough space to fit a full lunch for an adult or older child- these are truly sealed—as long as you close them correctly, contents of sections won’t leak into a neighboring section (we have our yogurt and applesauce in these and had no issues)- the stickers they come with are so so cute and made it fun for my three year old to decorate (and for me to label with her name)!- my three year old (who is a total threenager) thinks she is so cool with her compartmentalized lunch that she eats almost everything I pack! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Cons:- I knocked off one of the latches the first time I opened it. It clicked right back in, but now I’m always super cautious and a little nervous I will break the latches- Wouldn’t it be amazing if the outer shell was also dishwasher safe?!?!? Perhaps too much to asked but I would love it!- I do sometimes struggle to get the inner tray out. Like to the point that I need to use a paper towel or something to help me grip when it’s dirty! Maybe this is just a sign of an awesome fit, though....Overall it is great! And the price is also great compared to how Bento boxes run.

Love that this is a two-set. Makes it easy to make sure that at least one box is ready to go for the next day. Only two comments I have are on cleaning and design.Cleaning: When cleaning, I found it impossible to take the box apart by hand for cleaning. I need to use a butter knife to dislodge the inner parts out for cleaning. However, it is a swift and clean motion and I don't see that I'm doing any damage to the boxes with my technique. This might matter to you if it's important that you are able to clean the box away from a kitchen space.Design: I think the box overall is a great size either for a child or an adult. That said, one design has more compartments than the other. The box with 4 compartments - 1 large rectangle, 2 smaller rectangles and a cylinder shape is better for a lunch with a sandwich or other larger lunch element plus sides. The box with more compartments is better for a lunch that comes in smaller pieces (for example, nuts or edamame) and has more parts. Depending on what style of meal you tend toward, you may find yourself using one box more than the other.

Heavy, can’t swap food trays into the other box. I even tried to force close it thinking maybe with a bit of force it’ll be okay and didn’t even close all the way. Tested it with water for its claim of leak proof and nothing came out but might be different if you put any other condiment? Still yet to test it to its full potential. Nonetheless, they’re good to pack in a backpack/bag when your out & about so whenever the little one gets hungry you can pull it out your backpack and give them their snacks with sandwhiches, or pb&j, and a drink, but do wish it wasn’t as pricy as $30 not including tax.. the colors are nice as well. Comes with 3 pages of stickers.UPDATE: Noticed In proper lighting that the monty green one was scratched up from the lid as it something kinda sharp was scraping it so make sure yours aren’t like that or don’t look used like mine does!

I love these bento lunch boxes! I bought them as a gift for my young nieces but now my high school daughter uses them! They are very high quality. They hold a lot of food, the colors are fun, and they are thinner than a traditional lunch box (which is nice for high school backpacks already stuffed with books and binders). The 4 and 6 compartment options make it easy to switch up what is being packed for lunch. One day was a sandwich, fruit and cookies, and the next day was tuna salad, chips, cheese and fruit. They are very easy to clean too, which is a must for me.I will now buy more as a gifts for my young nieces. They saw them and were excited about the colors and stickers for personalization. I am glad I found these!

Love all but one thing. These come in a pack of two, however one insert doesn’t have large enough containers to store a sandwich. I have to cut up the sandwich into quarters and it uses up a lot of space. I would like to have two containers that I can mix and match myself. Or just make the insert the same, but it should have a container large enough for a sandwich.

I love these lunch boxes. So cute, durable, easy to clean & there are TWO! I haven't tested the leak proof to the max with something liquid, like soup, but these work great so far. I haven't noticed any issues with food spilling into other compartments. Fun to decorate & the price point is great. Dishwasher safe is a huge plus.

Bought the boxes as a gift for my 4 yo sister. She doesn't like regular pink "girl-styled" bento boxes so this set was a perfect fit for her.She loves them as they are bright and colorful and there are stickers.Also, it is much easier for our mom to make lunches for her because there are 2 boxes with different compartments to make different food combinations every day and not run out of ideas.They also seem to be more durable than other boxes we bought previously.So for 40 $ with discount it's a great deal!

Very easy to use! Both my 8 year old and 4 year old love it, and easy for them to open and close! Very good price for both, i have bentgo box and these have way more space and is a way better deal then the bentgo! Only thing is it is a little bit bigger and barely fits their lunch boxes, like no extra space in their lunch box but everything fits in the boxes.
