Followed directions all together this thing was tumbling for weeks and the gems never really got shinny.

Tumbling Disaster!!!!
A Big Disappointment!!I did Not purchase this tumbler from Amazon, but from a local toy shop. Since Amazon sells it I felt obligated to warn consumers. DO NOT BUY THIS.It is poorly constructed and extremely noisy. I thought I would chance it and started the process. I was at Step 3, the first polishing process when the tumbler developed a serious leak. I followed all the instructions precisely and it kept leaking. Enough was enough. Now I own the Dan & Darci Advanced Rock Tumbler. Great instruction manual and wonderful tumbler with a digital display. AMAZON SELL THIS ONE! Also QUIETER. I highly recommend it.

Poor quality and no customer support.
Surprisingly complicated for a child to use. Very noisy, but quit on the second load of grit. Absolutely no information on what flashing lights mean or don't mean. No way to contact. On the box it says to go to the support section, but there is no support section on their website. It quit mid tumble, and although I can turn the drive gear(to insure it's not frozen) there is nothing but lights, and no action, no noise, NOTHING. Save your money.
