Capsule Connection Separated Empty Gelatin Capsules, 00 Size (5000)

So far I'm disappointed with these. This is my first time trying out pre-separated capsules. I've used 1000s of regular capsules from other companies. So when trying to put 50 capsule bottoms in my capsule filler I found about 4-5 that were undersized. That's roughly 10% that were the wrong size. They were literally inside the properly sized bottoms. If I didn't catch it I would have wasted supplement powder because they don't fit properly in my capsule filler. I've used 1000s of capsules from other companies and never had the wrong size mixed in the package. There were also some crushed capsule tops that I saw but so far not too many. Although that shouldn't happen you will occasionally get a couple duds, that I can accept. But I'm not going to go through the whole bag looking for the wrong sized capsules, that's why I paid extra for pre-separated capsules, to save time.So if they couldn't make sure they put the right sized capsules in my package how am I supposed to trust that they did anything else correctly? They obviously have poor quality control. Did I really get 1000 capsules? How many are the wrong size? I've contacted the seller requesting a new package. We'll see if and how they respond.

I was looking for an alternative to buying overpriced packs of 250 from our local health food store. I across this deal from Capsule Connection for 1000 capsules, for a few bucks more than I was paying for 250. Not only is it an incredible value, but they're pre-separated which saves a ton of time when making supplement capsules.They came packaged well, and I only saw 2 that were crushed in total. The only recommendation I have for the seller would be to consider using resealable bags for the separated halves. I won't take away a star for that though, as I had ziplock bags in my kitchen. I will definitely be buying these again.

I have been buying these capsules 2-3 times a month and have never had an issue till now. Apparently I can’t return what they sent me this last time !!1st. There are the wrong size capsules mixed in with the right ones. Unfortunately I dumped these all into my other bags of capsules that were running low.I make several supplements for myself and my family + a few friends2nd the bag with the long Bottom part of the capsules was in awful shape. I had to throw away more that 1/2 of them as they are melted together or crushed.Again since I dumped these in with my remaining capsules, I now have to put each capsule in by had cause the deformed ones are a pain to remove!!I will include pictures above with this review. I normally never take the time to even write a review. But I’ve been using this company for months and now I have to MoveOn. This says made my job of baking for the 500 capsules a week go from a 30 minute job to an hour plus just to get it done. I have to look out for the bottom pieces and the top pieces that are not the right size, they are too big powder would just fall right out because the top would fall off .I’m very disappointed and hoping to hear back from the company and they’ll make this right. Until then I had to order from somebody else and take extra time that I do not have to make the capsules that I need now.

received in two days started using they came in two bag 1000 tops 1000 bottoms but the bottoms have tops mixed in so you have to pick tops out after you load load bottoms takes more time pulling them out have to use long nose pliers hope this helps others. Will go back to order and take them apart myself.

Ordered these...started capping up my kratom and realized I only got HALF of the tops for the caps...so now I have about 250 bottoms sitting here and I can't use them. What a waste of money. DO NOT BUY THESE THEY ARE RIPPING YOU OFF.

I’ve been making my own vitamins for about 7 years. Using a 100 at a time capsule machine, it’s usually done with ease. More specifically, it’s crucial the capsules are not out of shape or the machine will crush the tops trying to lock over the bases. I’ve purchased this brand about 32 times reviewing my order history.My most recent batch was so bad, it’s not even usable. The bases are out of shape, some even crushed. The tops are stuck into each other, some as much as 3. So it’s pretty much a worthless batch. I wouldn’t care as much but this is about the 5th batch I’ve received like this and will be my last with this company.For those unfamiliar with capsules, separated save you time for a bit more money. As long as the quality is good, you’re fine. If it’s not there, it’s a nightmare. Moving forward I will probably use a different company and worst case buy joined capsules. The joined capsules are tested before shipped as they are sent already locked together. So if you’re unsure about a brand, buy the joined as the failure rate is next to none.

Like others recently I got non-Separated pills when I ordered this. Separated pills cost more but I think its worth paying extra for, but that's not what I got so I feel ripped off. I order these multiple times in the past without issue, now I don't trust them and won't buy again. I couldn't refund/exchange since its been over a week after I bought these and since in the past I never had a problem I assumed they were fine and didn't check until now.

I've been making capsules for over 12 years. Lately about 1,000 capsules every two weeks just for household use.And these are the worst capsules I've ever received from any company. The last batch was practically useless. I use a 100 capsule machine and can usually make 100 capsules in 10 minutes or less.These capsules are so misshapen that the large end often needs to be forced into the capsule machine. And when dumping the completed capsules onto a paper plate I spend the next 20 minutes re-assembling half the capsules by hand.Even then at least a half dozen capsules need to be emptied and thrown in the garbage. Because you can't put them together manually they're so misshapen. Buyer beware. Please.
