What a great book , even just to browse through . The coloured photographs are excellent and covers an extraordinary range of buildings and structures . Very inspiring for someone like me . Highly recommended to professionals and non-professionals .

This should be compulsory reading/viewing for most anyone. This book is clearly aimed to be a great conversation piece or coffee table staple, but the pages really hold so much more than that; over a hundred great examples of the best craftsmanship humankind has to offer. Scratched, built and carved from man's oldest resource. Gives you a new understanding of that most basic, and fundamental, of materials, leaving you breathless. Some great art in here, some great sculpture - many stunning images, truly. And the size of this book is immense! Not bad for the price at all, by far the best instalment of the series.
