Spin it baby one more time
Great Go-tcha (or watcha, as my partner calls it).Battery usually lasts 2/3 days and what’s best, you can finally see it!You have to sync it with the app time to time as the time on the watch desynchronises (5 min fast in about 1/2 months). It works well, like any other gotcha or official go plus, etc. Has the same issues connecting to the game, but nothing to do with the device itself.

Works great and easy to use!
Product is easy to connect to your phone and works great. I decided to take it off the strap and keep in a case as you need it off the strap to charge and it's not easy taking it off and putting back on. It only uses red balls to catch the Pokémon and goes through them pretty quick so make so you have plenty although if you are near loads of stops it'll quickly restock them automatically. It'll connect for an hour, then you'll have to reconnect which is as easy as pressing a button on your phone. Set up took a whole minute and that was it.

Do not buy! They don't last.
Don't buy this product. Mine stopped working after a couple of months. I emailed the manufacturer but got no response. Amazon replced the faulty item. It arrived in early October 2020 and worked well until last month when it began to just switch off and not come back on for maybe an hour or so (it was always adequately charged when it did this). It is now March 2021 and has not turned on for 3 days. It was at just over 65% charge when it stopped working. The screen is just completely dead, even though it is charged. It was great when it worked, but just really badly made. Waste of money.

Cracking bit of kit for any avid trainer
I bought this device in order to allow me to "play" Pokemon Go at times when I would otherwise not be able to. Specifically, the latest Abra Community Day, when I was also meant to be working!Set up of the device was straightforward. I downloaded the Gotcha Evolve app from Google Play, and it paired to my Pixel 2 straight away. A new firmware update was downloaded and installed automatically. From there, it was simply a case of adjusting the settings to my preferences.Connecting to Pokemon Go was just as simple as connecting a regular Go Plus. Once running, it started picking up and attempting to catch nearby Pokemon and spinning nearby Poke Stops as expected. The big test was Abra community day - I connected the Gotcha and left it to its own devices whilst I went about work. I had to reconnect it hourly (a limitation of Pokemon Go itself) but otherwise didn't touch it. And the result? ~600 capture attempts, of which ~350 were successful, 13 shinies and 5 90%+ IV Abras hoovered up over the course of the six hour event (good thing I had stocked up on Poke Balls!) - this device did exactly what I needed it to do. Perfect! What I Like:> Bright colourful display> Easy one touch button operation> Auto catch and spin works like a charm> Built in rechargeable battery and USB plug> Ease of setup> Takes a lot of the grind out of PoGoWhat I don't like:> Vibration motor is absolutely pathetic, I can barely feel it even when holding the device in my hand> The strap is VERY tough to pull off to access the USB plug - I bought a small case with keyring to keep the Gotcha in which looks much nicer IMO. Can easily be found via a search on Amazon. So I pulled the watch strap off for the first time and have left it off since.> Long term reliability may be questionable if other reviews are to go by.> Step counter function doesn't actually add anything (it won't feed into Adventure Sync, for example).Overall verdict - for any serious player then this is absolutely a key tool for you to consider. More versatile than the Pokemon Go Plus and cheaper than the Poke Ball Plus, it's a great option to pick. But make sure you treat it gently so as to avoid breaking it!

TLDR; USB is in the strap, its hard to take off. Wont buy another.
I've used this item almost a month before writing this review. Its not a bad product and is a cheaper alternative to the official nintendo version, however this version of GotCha has a massive problem. To charge it you remove the strap to expose a USB. On paper, a great item, but in practice, its awful. I genuinely can not pull the strap off, I have to give it to someone else to have a go or use a knife and peel it off. Its amazing this passed as okay in the final product. I won't be buying this product again, and hope all products moving forward do not keep this feature.

It works
Product arrived on time. Most of the reviews here are about the old gotcha like when the cable is mentioned as the gotcha evolve does not have one. There was a problem with any device like this even the go plus connecting to devices from about the 4th till the 24th of Oct but pokemon go has fixed their error. When you get the gotcha evolve download the gotcha evolve app and this will update the firmware and set the date and time.If you are connecting after using the old gotcha make sure that it's ejected in the app, close the app and restart phone then connect it the usual way.I have tried and tested the product and its all good connects everytime and I have no complaints.

Overall a satisfactory product.
I've had my Go-tcha for a few months now and it seems to be ok. It is a little fragile as many people have commented previously. As long as you are careful with it, it will be ok. It is easy to use and pairs to my phone with ease. Overall it is a satisfactory product.

Very inconsistent product
This does it's job I suppose but I have never known something so inconsistent in my life. From day 1, this would struggle to connect properly, and even when it did it would sometimes reset itself and freeze, meaning it wouldn't turn back on for 3 hours, which makes it useless for the day.The battery life is awful, after a couple of hours the battery level goes down to 75% and then it says that its low on battery and won't let you connect. 6 months after owning it, the battery life went to about 1 hour. Now after a year it lasts even less than that.Even when it is working properly, the speed of it is very hit and miss. Some days it catches a pokemon every few seconds, some days it catches one per minute. This product is better than nothing, but for the money I paid I really think I deserved better. Ordering a different one asap.
