Wow, love the look and feel and the readers are great
I'm really pleased with these. I'll use these for my all-around shades, including bike riding, driving and flying my small plane. The clarity is really good. I went to the drug store and sampled some readers, determined I needed a 2.0 magnification, and that worked perfectly. The reader area is just large enough for reading the GPS or dash electronics and doesn't interfere with the field of vision otherwise. I like how they look on me (I have a somewhat larger than average head) and the temple design is comfortable and unobtrusive as well. They are replacing gradient lens Serengettis which are +10 yrs old and seem to have developed a mottled film on the lenses that I'm just not able to remove, and which seem to interfere with the visual clarity. I like the feel and look of these a little better, but perhaps that's just the novelty. However I'm very pleased so far.

Look and Fit Great
I bought these sunglasses as an affordable alternative to prescription sunglasses. I chose the +2.5 and it works excellent both on the bicycle and driving the car. On the bike I don't have to move my head to view my Cateye computer and I can also use the phone with ease. In the car I have to tilt my head back just a bit to see the dash (speed, navigation system, radio, etc.). I rode 16 miles this weekend and the sunglasses remained comfortable the entire time. Great product that was delivered quickly and packaged well.

Couldn't be happier
My eye doctor has subtly suggested for several years that I might try bi-focals, but since my distant vision is only slightly impaired, I didn't want to go there.Lately, I have been noticing that I struggle to see certain fields on my bike computer. I recently had a pair of old cycling glasses break, and saw an ad for this product in Velo magazine. This works perfectly -- the location of the "bi-focal" couldn't be better - i.e. I look down at the bike computer as I normally do and the bifocal portion is exactly what I am looking through to more easily see the numbers -- without having to move my head any differently than I normally would. The rest of the lens is very clear as well. Would recommend these to anyone with the same problem.

Nice concept but...
Nice concept but didn't work for me. They need more options for magnification levels and place them in a slightly different place .

Why Didn't Someone Think Of This Before
I was having a hard time reading my cyclometer with my old sunglasses and my prescription ones were not suitable for cycling. These are stylish and functional. They really work! Not only can I see the screen on the cyclometer clearly, but when I stop to use my cell phone, I can now read the screen, even text messages! I would recommend these to anyone who rides and needs a prescription or readers. I will use them for walking and pool side as well.

Good product, good value
Good product, good value, comfy to wear. I use them in the cockpit of my small plane where I need the sun relief, but also need to see the aeronautical charts and the radio dials and instruments. Works great. Since the lenses are removable, I do wish I could find a way to order regular sun-glass lenses, without the bi-focal aspect, to use occasionally when I just want a normal sun-glass. I've searched the website and cannot find non-bi-focal lens replacements.

Age improvement
I'm 47 and my view has problems seeing at short distance, bifocals on these sunglasses are very usefull for my biking, it is easy to read my polar data and aid my in side repairs like flats or minor problems.Sunglases adapt very nice my face, tint is ideal not to dark or too light, water after washing them does not stain the glass!! highly recomended!!
