It just doesn't work.

My only concern is whether it's made by a sweat shop it's that cheap. It's very very well made, though! It's a simple plastic cover which can be lifted off, comes with a a bobbin loaded with thread (though my machine and bobbin were pink which is no good for emergency fixes to be subtle haha). The spool can be short or long/wide, as there's an included plastic push on thing which keeps the spool on and secure while loose. It threads through a hole to keep it aligned not coming off the spool, through other holes and whatever includimg an adjustable tensioner. It's a threaded nut and bolt essentially, with two washers pressed together with a chosen strength by said threads and a spring. It comes with two bits of metal which are easy to hold and have a hook on the end to pull the cotton through, though very very thin so easy to bend and thus, probably break easily. It needs to be thin and cheap, though, with this price. It'll still all last a good while. The needle to sew with seems standard, get it anywhere for any machine as a replacement if needed at any time-any machine wears down at some point. I've only tried it a little thus far, it seems strong because when I focused and pushed tight, it was hard to pull out. The few first tries, though, i could seem to pull the end out as though it wasn't tightly stitched. That's before I focused and gripped tightly. All in all, it's way better than hand sewing which may be enjoyable to some but bad neck strain. This machine cuts that out. Great emergency tool

I'm not one for giving a full 5 stars as nothing is perfect and theres so much to go wrong but I'm amazed by this wee product. Arrived early for one. Accessories bagged up so not lost. Instructions printed on box, bobbin comes with and is filled with cotton. I couldn't wait to use and so with scrap of fabric I had a got I went for it. It was very easy set up and easy to use to. Worked absolutely fine straight off. I am tempted, very tempted to buy a few as spares to keep in different places and or as wee gifts.
