Survival Knife; Short Life
I expect the hinges of these foldable sections will not last too long if used even periodically. Definitely for last resort-type use.

unusual but handy tool
Sometimes i need a utility knife, but carrying a bulky folding knife or multitool in my purse or pocket can be seen as masculine or threatening. When I saw this credit card knife, I was excited to find I could have the convenience of a metal blade without the previously mentioned bulk. The description says it's ultra slim at 2mm deep-- it is pretty slim, the card, unfolded, is the width and height of a standard credit card, but it's the depth of about three or four credit cards stacked up, so I couldn't fit it in a card slot in my wallet, but I can put it in the billfold area without issue.Transforming from card to knife is really straightforward. There's a little button safety you turn to unlock the blade, fold it out, and fold in the ends of the card to form the handle. The blade itself is super thin and super sharp stainless steel with a black finish. the handle part of the card is plastic, and feel a little flimsy, but gets the job done in most situations I need this for, such as cutting packaging or reinforced tape, or even slicing up an apple for a snack. The only metal part is the blade, and by keeping that clean, I've not had any issues with rust so far. Even so, it comes with a lifetime guarantee, so I'm not worried. This is an unusual but handy little tool I really like. Now I just have to remember to leave it at home when flying!I received a discounted sample for an unbiased review.

It'll cut a fool, but that fool might be you.
I wouldn't choose to defend myself with this knife, that's just not practical. Between getting out your wallet and gingerly folding the plastic handle i'd imagine you'd suffer some serious damage before you'd get ready to inflict some. That being said, as i was looking it over my 2 year old daughter brought over a sealed box with some of her Christmas toys and this knife made short work of the scotch tape sealing the lid. That's more in line with how i'd plan to use it, but this knife will cut a fool, especially if it's the fool wielding it in an attempt to do some heavy duty cutting. If you happen to have it ready or have plenty of deployment time, then yes, I have no doubt that this could stab someone, however you'd have to keep your fingers close to over the blade as the knife steel only goes into the handle about and inch near the point of entry and would flop over and probably break off if you held it at the end of the handle (much more like a shiv than a knife). That said, I like it. It will come in handy and I can keep it in my wallet and forget about it (hopefully not to the degree that I lose it to the TSA).This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

Good to Always Have On You!
Credit Card Knife is a and can be used in a state of emergencies. It is not a sturdy knife that you want to hack things with but will provide you the tool to get you out of a sticky situation or help cut twine. The knife fits perfectly into my or my boyfriend's wallet! The knife is actually decently sharp! In a matter of a few seconds, you can fold the knife out, and it will lock into place really well for its intended purpose. It is very convenient to have a knife always on you. Remember it is easy to forget that you have it in your wallet and it will set off metal detectors. If you are wanting to have something on you at all times without it being bulky, then I would suggest this for you. For what you spend on the knife, it is actually a good deal! This product was provided to me at no cost (or at a Discount) in Exchange for an honest and unbiased Review.
