Good light. But doesn’t meet my needs.
So I bought this light because it has high reviews and a lot of YouTubers preaching about how awesome this light is. I found it to be ok. Nothing amazing at all. I still find my fenix pd35 a way better light. Plus my fenix using all kinds of batteries. Where is olight will only work with the olight battery. Plus it take forever to charge up using the charger that came with it. The mode are weird to use. And the throw on the light is ok. Tried it out at work getting some water level reads. The olight does have good diffused light. But in my line of work. I need good throw with the ability to use different batteries. So my fenix pd35 will remain in full time use. And the olight will simply be a tool box light.

Very unimpressed
Make no mistake, build quality seems unsurpassed, but light output is just ordinary given the price. Turbo mode definitely bright but only lasts 60 seconds before dimming. My streamlight 2AA has a brighter light in a more narrow beam (preferred by myself) than this on high (non-turbo), at a third of the price. Regret the purchase. It won't be an edc, but will find a drawer or a glove box only to be seldom used due to light output, not to build quality.

Great EDC light!
For me this item is one of those every day carry items I really like it that being said I bought the smaller model from Olight for $68 and lost two (my own fault) so I decided I wasn’t going to buy another s2r baton. Show how much I like them if I keep buying them lol. Ive looked at all the products and this company makes amazing flashlights! Make sure you read the instructions because this light has a lot of features with that one button and if you don’t know them your missing out on a lot of the light.

Great flashlight, very bright, great battery life.
Well, once again, Olight has blown me away with another product.... and no, not because I had it in my pocket without lockout mode, and ignited... I honestly expected it to be bigger, currently, I have their I3t, i5t, S2, S2RII, Perun 2, Warrior Mini, This Baton pro, and a Seeker 2 pro. Im not a wealthy person.... after getting hooked with my warrior mini, I've pretty much bought one anytime I've been able to get one signifantly below retail. People hoard (poor choice of words on my part) and sell these (mainly limited edition colors), so even a great condition used one can sometimes get me more than I've paid for them. Mind you, I'm not selling what I've accumulated thus far... these are my babies.... seriously, when God said "Let there be light" im pretty sure there is a footnote somewhere regarding Olight being the keepers of that key, to said light. All joking aside, this specific Baton Pro flashlight is awesome. Its my new backyard light. It does have a very "Floody" light, so it illuminates my entire backyard in turbo mode extremely sufficiently. I utilize the strobe function to get my 3 deaf Boston terriers attention, which is still a work in progress, but they are learning nicely. The battery has so far lasted over a week with nightly use of about 10+ minutes if sporadic use. If you are on the fence about this light, or any Olight specifically, wait for a sale (apparently they happen every couple months, with the big ones being in November and December). I picked this one up as a flash sale here, and got it for around $60. Thats a significant save, and although I can't necessarily say I wouldn't buy it at full price, I would absolutely buy them and say they are worth more than that. Hopefully I brought a smile to your face, and gave you enough to make an informed decision. Seriously though, buy an Olight, not a streamlight.... I've wasted hundreds of dollars over the years on way over priced streamlights. No, I am in no way affiliated or employed by the company.

Great EDC Flashlight.
Very nice compact light. Very bright in turbo mode. It takes a little practice getting used to the power button. Holding it down to change brightness instead of clicking it. And then getting used to stopping at the desired setting. Like I said, with some practice you'll get it. It has a nice, strong pocket clip. I only wish it was on in such a way that it made carrying the light lens down instead of up. The magnetic charging cord was a great idea. One other note, when in "Turbo" mode, the head of the flashlight gets hot. And it does it fast.

Not worth the money
The light is compact and easy to charge. Disappointed with overall brightness of the light. Much cheaper lights offer the same brightness for half the cost. I can only speak about the light i own but the length of time the charge lasts is disappointing based on cost.

EDC/SAR LOOK NO FURTHER
Finally an EDC light that solves the rechargeable vs. replaceable battery dilemma, well made and thought out in design and function. The OLight Baton Pro 2000 finally checks all the boxes. The light uses common 18650 Li rechargeable batteries coming with one installed and a 2 cell plastic carrier for an EDC pouch. It is stoutly machined from aluminum with a hefty 2 way belt/hat clip. Functions are the best I’ve seen; the low “map light” position preserves night vision; ther are three “normal levels of brightness and then an eye-scorching 2000 lumen level. The true genius of this light is it’s use of common rechargeable 18650 batteries. Rechargeable only lights are notorious for not being charged when needed, and replacement cell lights let you pop in a fresh cell when you need it, but at a cost. This light has a magnetic connection charger to recharge the cell in the light. I bought another charger/2cell pack to keep the extra cells periodically topped off. For SAR, this is a fantastic EDC light. There is a nice heavy cloth pouch included. The detail that really earned my respect was a removable thin wire clip already attached to the lanyard for the purpose of threading the lanyard thru the hole in the base of the light. No fussing or fumbling. Respect, would give six stars if I could. Note I own two other OLight products, and they are equal in quality and design as the Baton Pro. Worth every penny of the $90 price, I’d expect to pay twice as much from other better known companies for less. Highly recommended!
